Despite growing up knowing about the Paranormal and seeing a world that normal people would never see, Seth was as close to a normal human as you could get. Everything would change on the day his father died and his life would never be the same again. He had always dreamed of Manifesting one day, but not like this. Not as a girl, and especially not as a Nymph. Now, Seth and his sister, Jessica, are on their way to parts unknown to live with a mother that he never even knew was still alive and being a girl is the least of his problems.
It's... a frustrating read for me.
There is a lot of great worldbuilding here, most of the characters are reasonably well fleshed out, some more than others.
The grammar is also good.
But I have some gripes with the story
The writing styles reads quite monotone, as it's very "tell, don't show". Many very important conversations are merely described briefly. We see no back and forth in these, what I am assuming, emotional moments. Just a paragraph saying they talked about X subject then moving on.
Also not a fan of how we are told the MC has the instincts of a s*x crazed species... and is instead just a bit hornier than the average human. It's never shown. It's quite frequently just no mentioned how much she is suffering. The only assumption I can make is:
that she should just rub one or three out at the start or end of her day.
I'm not even asking for smut. It just feels like an almost unimportant aspect of her character. Told one thing and shown another.
The action scene I read most recently was well done though, thoroughly entertaining and there was one chapter which I thought delightfully funny.
That being said, I don't think I will continue reading. Mostly deliberating whether I should give this a 2 or 3 star.

The premise seems cool at first. But the story doesn’t go anywhere. About 90% is a mix of slice of life, introducing new characters that don’t add anything to the story and a information about which girl is horny and/or attracted to which other girl.
