Synopsis

It begins as a usual isekai story.
No, wait. It`s worse. It's otome isekai. And I`m the villain.
Of course, there must be some kind of cheat to make up for it. It's that kind of story.
And my cheat is... being a shoggoth. Which apparently includes being a genius with setting up all sorts of production. Because "engineered to be universal labor" backstory for that race, I surmise.
So... Screw it, full steam ahead. Let's see what I can make out of this world and it's ikebana-based magic.

Status: Chapter 125. We’re done here,...

ok, re writing this whole review because I wrote it while drunk aperantly.

    Fist of all.

The absolute DENSEST INFO DUMP WALL OF TEXT I HAVE EVER SEEN.

is what happens for the first 3 chapters, but here is the weird part, none of the text is skippable.
all of it is necessary to establish who Alyssa (The MC) is and was, as well as the very small slice of the world she is currently in.

this is a book where major overhanging mysteries can be solved in a single sentence.
not in 1 chapter, not in 1 paragrpah,
in a single sentance, a major plot thread/threat was resolved; 4 major things have resolved in this manner already and im expecting more
and yet it makes perfect sense in story context.

this story is amazing, its written sort of like a diary so all unimportant/irrelevant things get ignored, and important events / downtime Alyssa likes gets featured a lot.

and the glossary is just full of details that explains certain things about the story that might initially go unnoticed, BEWARE: it contains spoilers.

its a story format I wish was explored more often, but sadly todays market practically demands pointless, as well as easy to understand plot points, which would both be resolved in a single chapter with this story format. (Not good revenue from fewer chapter clicks = canceled)

this could never be an easy to write endless story.
so, either the author runs out of interesting ideas, or the funds run out
and then the story simply ends, usually in a satisfying manner but if no ending for the story has been planned the author needs to make one NOW, too many stories end on a "to be continued in the next chapter", please don't make this one of them, it deserves a proper burial if it needs to get put down.

    Status: chapter 114. tree up!

Started reading this on another site, finished there and jumped over here to keep reading. Took me about a week. Generally speaking it's a very good story well thought out. What criticisms I have that it took way too long to figure out how's the main character could do all the things she could, it was later explained but still should have been near the beginning. Following the train of thought of the main character can be troublesome at times especially when they are creating something. Other than that stories very interesting and well-reasoned and thought out. The side plots aren't boring and are refreshing distraction from main story.

Status: chapter 105. speech! (but not really)

There are many parts to this story that are intriguing to me. An interesting, exciting plot. An excellent MC.A very special way of telling the story.A thoroughly amusing style of inner dialogue.A yuri harem that is not, by any means, central to the story.A wonderful care in the foreign language additions. And yet, only all together make this story good. Definitely worth a look.

I don't know what I hate more myself or the Autor. I have genuinely become addicted to this novel and Im going through withdrawal symptoms. Before I knew the next chapter button became broken and so did my mind tring to cope with reality where there is no more new chapters for a week. So I think I should also write something rewiew like soooo. The novel itself is interesting and fast paced, the autor makes a point that she I a shogoth and puny humanz are no match for her the protagonist is likable so are her possessions, and some villains have redemable features which makes it possible to like them when they come crawling in defeat back to the main protagonist. The only thing I don't like is the whole other languages theme where most of the time you need to put the stuff into Google translator to have an idea what are they talking about I don't know why autor decided to use something German phonetic language istead of just writing in German so to read the Kraut stuff u need to know German because no Google translator will help here  besides this minor inconvenience the novel is a solid shogoth out of generic pop culture reference because there is a ton of them it the novel. Ps Dear Cytoxin sama please bless us with next chapter the suffering I'm enduring is my prayer directed to you.

Rough start, I definitely got lost in the context during the first 10 chapters. There wasn't much explanation about the Otome game, the protagonist's background, and the current state of the world before the Transmigration. Despite all its flaws, however, I couldn't help but binge on 70+ chapters. The world building is superb, and I like how you included some of the scientific background on Alyssa's inventions/innovations. The context helps omit the "pull-it-out-of-the-ass" feel that some Issekais give when they introduce modern technology poorly. Lastly, Alyssa is soo cute (I can't help but see Observer Alpha in her). It's refreshing to see a writer to doesn't treat a harem as some type of "collectathon" event.

May the ink never dry as your story unfolds,

    - Darkadios

P.S. I think you could benefit by having more "waifu-pov" interludes. Perhaps, Moon Unit delving in the dreams of the other harem members? She seems mischievous enough to do so.

Status: chapter 141. on the bloody morning...

I have to say, I almost dropped this early on primarily because the writing style is so different. Different, not bad, the first few chapters are a sort of info dump with a LOT of internal monologue, my best guess is that the author didn't want to write 100 chapter about MC who is literally still in infancy, which honestly I really appreciate. Also, because of the style of writing the author is able to explain all of the stuff that's happening or happened clearly and concisely without a ton of extra inevitably pointless monologuing, while the writing style takes some getting used to, it's honestly kind of brilliant, it's fresh and really easy to read for hours on end. The characters are all fantastic and the MC is honestly a straight up gem, the whole story is such a treat. While I have some complaints this story is one of the best on SH hands down.

It's a wild ride with no rules. I loved every moment.

Maybe sometimes while reading you'll be tempted to think "hey, that makes no sense" - this is the wrong mindset. Instead, you should aim for "what's going to happen next? Who knows!"

Give up on trying to set your expectations or predictions on the story and just let it sweep you up in its chaos. You won't regret it.

Status: chapter 137. all your base will...

The book is just beautiful. The only thing missing is a separate book, which will contain all the readers' comments, to which the author responded with his comments, because there is so much material there that I think I missed half of the book.

Status: chapter 131. at the gates of...

One of the most popular stories on ScribbleHub for good reason.

MC is likeable and seems to be having fun with the story despite the routine obstacles that get thrown in her path. You'll get a well fleshed out supporting cast and rich interpersonal relationships but tech/social/commercial innovation is the driving force behind this story.

Some things for new readers to understand:

    • This is very much a 'kingdom builder' story at it's core once things really start to settle in so be forewarned if you're looking for a otome-game story.
    • Structurally, the story's basically a series of mini-arcs. That is to say things can be grouped into 2-5 chapter chunks which makes this story strike a nice balance between bite-sized and meaty. If you get hooked you'll find yourself in a time wormhole of bargaining between 'just 1 more chapter' and 'just 1 more arc'.
    • As we get deeper into the story, we see the world is a composite one pulling from tons of pop-culture properties taking place in mirror-universe late-1700s Europe. You will very much be rewarded if you know your history and know what's being improved upon since the story doesn't cover 'the problem' nearly as deeply as it does 'the solution'. You can also have fun by playing 'spot the anime/game/movie reference'.
    • The MC does 'the smart thing (tm) ' just about ever time so you can happily expect some consistency from her. She's incredibly bold but only does things she's got the confidence to execute on. Bonus: She has the emotional maturity and patience of a well-adjusted adult, much wow!
    • Weird quirk the author has is to frequently leave out grammatical articles ('a/an', 'the'), you'll just have to deal. It happens persistently but only really sticks out because of how strong and engaging the rest of writing is.

Status: chapter 127. a bloody break

a wonderful and amusing OP story where the limit is time, the surroundings, and a Main Character that is likable despite it all.

She is not perfect, she is not all good and nice, she is not all evil, and she does what she wants without hiding herself completely like so many MCs.

She does try not to stand out too much, but she does not wallow in angst when she fails at it or does everything to pretend to be normal.
