In a world turned into a game, Earth has become a dangerous place full of mutants and survivors. Jake, once lucky to be alive, now finds himself transformed into a mutant with retained intelligence. Hated by both survivors and mutants, he is all alone, surrounded by enemies. To survive, Jake must become the apex predator in this new unforgiving world.
Author's note:
Act 1 (Chapters 2-33) follows Jake as a human as he explores the new world and its game-like rules, learning how the system works for regular survivors. He undergoes the transformation in Chapter 33 and remains a mutant throughout the rest of the story. Act 2 begins in Chapter 34 and focuses on Jake learning the unique system of mutant skills and abilities that has been granted to him upon his transformation. The scene from Chapter 1 is depicted from Jake's perspective in Chapter 95 when the narrative catches up to this moment in the timeline.

So far the story has been quite interesting, following a normal person who has their entire life flipped upside down because of "the collapse".
While there are micro-timeleaps what occurs in the slipped time appears to be summarised quite well to prevent any detachment from the story.
From what I've seen, the description of the environment appears to be well thought out and immersive.
Overall great story, the only thing I could think of to improve it would to try to keep continuity (in terms of less time-leaps) as it will make it easier for people to follow.
Otherwise, very well done so far. I look forward to the rest of the story
PS: the way you've worked the time-leaps at the moment is fine since you're focusing on important events however excessive micro-timeleaps like what you've done can cause readers to detach from the story. Good luck!
