I was sent back in time to fulfill my wish of living peacefully. I returned to the day it all started; the day the humans first entered the tower of hope. I was the chosen one; the only human with the knowledge of the upcoming events. And yet, I chose a different path. I am tired have no intention of joining the frontline. I earned my retirement and shall live peacefully in the cities as a healer. But first, I need to get through this tutorial and shall squeeze out all the benefits I can from the zeroth floor.

There are so many people here saying that 'the MC is cold and depressed' and 'they don't like that'. It made me somewhat excited for this novel. I can somewhat relate to the main character here. There is only so much a human can take before their mind breaks, and they give up on everything completely. Having people who care about you, having them sacrifice something for you; in this instance, can make it even worse: now with the depression and hopelessness there is also a lot to lose. Pressure and anxiety. Feeling like you are useless.

I am very excited with this book and will probably repost a review after fully reading it. I also really like main characters in 'supporting' roles, (cooking, crafting, healing, etc) It's a very promising start! ^^
