Synopsis
Ryan is in a tight spot. Not only has his carefully hidden magical talent almost been revealed by the new artifact adorning his wrist, but his identity has been deeply affected. Monster activity is increasing, and people are starting to realize that the world isn’t as devoid of magic as they believe it to be.
Struggling to hide his new curse, Ryan goes to school and tries to live a seemingly normal life while also trying to stop the world from discovering magic is real.

I went into this knowing it was on Hiatus, still hoping it resolved enough towards the end to make it not hurt when I got to the end. And well, it left off at quite a cliffhanger unfortunately. Not being able see any of the bigger points of the story getting resolved. Thinking about this story potentially never getting finished is a heartbreaker. Finding stories like this is one of the hardest and most depressing things I've run into while reading stuff on SH and sites like it. I feel so privileged to get a chance to go on a journey into a world that the author creates, and when you've gotten intune with the characters and the universe they live in, only to reach the end and find the story isn't finished is such a huge bummer. But I guess thats a price im willing to pay to have the opportunity to read stuff like this at all in the first place. Hope Skadia comes back to finish this someday

My first read but an awesome tale. I have had to 'binge read' the whole thing as I couldn't put it down.
A fascinating plot and the main characters, Erin/Ryan and Sarah look set to become quite a complex pair.
