A slime randomly falls into existence. Sapient and born with the ability to recreate parts of the things it preys upon, the highly confused drop of primordial soup decides that the only real thing it can do is become the being at the top of the food chain. A task of longevity in the leaves of the Omniverse.

TLDR with no spoilers:
The writing it's self is great, mostly coherent with clear intentions and a good vocabulary. The story very suddenly devolves into a 'no killing, that's evil, no matter what!' sh*t show that I don't really want to read. Particularly when the world is not a happy go lucky one, but a world with violent brigends and killer gods, and evil tycoons. Yet the irony doesn't seem to reach the author. There where also some hard core personality growths that flat out didn't happen or even worse, reverted.

OK so the long review with spoilers:
The story was going well and even seemed to really be aiming high when we suddenly take a slam dunk into the trashcan as MC gets "killed" and nothing happens... yep no major reactions, no powerful back hands, no clever plan. Just the MC dead and everyone goes quietly off to jail.
No that's really it.
There is no fight, no mourning, no clever comeback.
Now our 2 supporting characters are an Angle with logic issues, and a mana druggie evolving crazy cat.
And they flop like fishes out of water at this.
...
Our drug cat should have split and high tailed it out of there swaring revenge and our Angle should have cracked her faith.
I can think of much better things to have happened, like how about angle girl snaps and decides to condem this mini world for its greed?
How about there was a plan and MC got away?
I could go on, but I don't want to waste my time any further.
This is when the whole 'don't kill, no matter what!' Rhetoric really starts being slammed down your throat. The Angle was never kill happy like our other two characters were, but now it's some how infected the MC all of a sudden and we are getting a bunch of side perspectives that we are somehow supposed empathize with and all they seem to say is that 'you mustn't kill, I know we did, but you shouldn't' to our characters.
If you love stories where the MC struggles to come to terms with the morality of killing murderers, rapists and demon lords, go ahead with this story. Don't worry, it will get there.

First of all, this series is fantastic. It captures the pacing and tension required to make a story like this work. If you are impatient, or don't like to learn about the world outside of big fight sequences, then maybe this won't tickle your fancy.
However, the quality of this work is patently obvious to anyone that reads it. With strong worldbuilding, characterisation, and a fantastic progression system to boot, this is a story that anyone who likes those factors will love!
If you aren't sold on the idea of reading this, this story manages to capitalise on both the unique premise and a mastery of the cosmic scale to deliver an astounding view of the larger universe it takes place in.
Furthermore, the story examines trauma in a fantastically honest and mature way, and manages to make even the smallest interactions between characters interesting. Specifically, the way our main characters respond to the dangerous world around them manages to highlight the ways our brains can process traumatic events, and manages to do so in a faithful way towards the experiences of people who have experienced trauma.
A fantastic read with character, depth, and obviously made with love. 10/10

Ok, this has to be one of the best monsters stories on this site if not the best. The character dynamics and progression are great no bland paper cut-out personalities as some other web novels have.
the plot progression is top tier and isn't quite as predictable as some of the other cliche novels.
Lastly the grammer, spelling and writing style are all great enough to make this be leagues above some of the monstrosties on this site.
all in all a well deserved 5/5

Oh my god I found another story by fun and judging by the other series' (case in point, the gamer) I'm sure that I'm gonna enjoy this like the others

My rating is as follows: 4 stars. This story was a rollercoaster and a half to follow in which is a good thing, Fun was right in which it was a fast developing story in the beginning and I can agree with most of his notes in the season 1 author's notes which basically surmises all of my qualms as a reader.
Anyway tl;dr, another fantastic (fun-tastic) funatic story which mixes a banging storytelling/world-building wtih a "BANGing" erotica.

Intriguing idea, very well executed, however, at times I found the pacing a bit slow, mostly points in the last two arcs, but this one has progressed well. I also enjoy the characterisation of the MC and FL's as well as the other significant "NPCs", for example still hoping to learn more about how Mehily (the priestess) is doing.

It's alright, but too predictable and the over explaining gets tiring. Reminds me of listening to a group of middle schoolers trying to explain a story and taking over each other. Despite the smut it's immature in an anime trope kind of way. I give it 3 stars though, because the writing is still better than a lot off others.

A very good novel that uploads WAY to fast for me. For instance 2 days ago OVER 20 chapters were uploaded. And it ain't like this story has exceedingly short chapters. The worst part is the day before also released a ton of chapters. So I'm dropping this because I just can't keep up without focusing only on this story.
I gave this 3 stars because frankly, the first arcs just feel like the first chapter of reincarnated as a slime but with a slower pace. Then it takes too long imo for him to even be able to communicate with the first character he meets. Essentially the pace is too slow for me and the release rate is too fast causing it to be a slog to catch up.
There weren't notable grammar issues though.

Good read, high quality, fun smut.
Will stop reading because have been corrupted by more murder-happy novels.
My main gripe is the fairy: she refuses to harm anyone and when it comes to bite them she refuses to think of it as a bad move, we're told she is the planner but her plans are mediocre at best, and generally just feels like the world bends over backwards to cater to her. (This isn't glaring, like I said the writing is good, but after so many chapters it left a bad taste in my mouth)
Not my cup of tea, and if you are here for a brutal monster story, probably also not yours.

The story is great. Easily one of my fav. A bit slow on the progress though for my tastes, but otherwise very good. I recommend it a read!
