One of the best RI fanfics.
I will just mention good and bad sides of it.
Good:
- Fat chapters (they are really long)
- Good plot. Plot doesn't bore you. At the beginning it might seem boring, however later on it gets good.
- Original MC. For me it is good since Author balanced roles of FY and MC very well, so they didn't outshine each other.
- Worldbuilding and character development. Minor characters got bogger roles here, and Author decided to develop the lore.
Bad (mostly personal takes) :
- MC has easy life. Tbh, it doesn't feel like RI world where strong eats weak and etc. Even if MC faces problems it won't be long term issue. His most problems got solved in several chapters or they will be solved beforehand because of his cheat. For example,
MC gets blood skull gu and Blood path inheritance. He wants to use blood skull gu, but he doesn't want to kill his relatives, but how lucky that Blood path inheritance has corresponding gu that can alter bloodline. It would have been good, if MC decided to change the recipe of blood skull gu or create killer move with it, or spend time and resources to find solution, instead of getting it from his cheat.
- Very overpowered Cheat. And the thing is not the fact that his cheat is overpowered, but his rewards are absolutely unbalanced. For example
MC gets Dreamer Gu, which can passively increase attainment of various pathways, which is very OP. And his worst rewards are relic Gu, which are several times expensive than Gu worms of the same rank.

Why BNB was born girl? He would have turned into best girl anyway. And it would have been great opportunity to show lower boundary of MC. Will he sleep with fake-female or not ? Is he ready to throw away his morals for benefits? MC basically talks how he doesn't want to be amoral, but in my opinion, it would have been better if he showed it in action.

This is really good but the smut scenes are really lacking, considering his trait is related to perverted things. Hope the author make it hotter and no scene changes while in the middle of intimate moments (the last chapter where he is f**king Bai Lin). I think the author also forgot about the bow gu (I think he is planning to refine it in the early chapters), after all his predecessor is an excellent marksman, it will be a waste of potential if he didn't develop it. Being all rounder is good and all but specializing in one weapon has always its advantages and he has the talent for it. Btw this is really good, a pity the chapters is only 50+

TLDR; This is for reading not for jacking off to.
This is the best RI fanfic I have read to date. Flows well, is an enjoyable read, author added some worldbuilding and changed a few things (FY actually got buffed instead of nerfed to hell or written out of his story like usual) but you get a simmilar feel as when reading the original. The chapters are longer and the plot goes slightly faster but not overwhelmingly so the current 60 or so chapters bring us to just over ch 200 in cannon.
I even tried putting myself in the boots of a new reader and aside from some confusion about the OG MC it should be perfectly understandable, even moreso than most fanfics you see on this site. Of course knowing the cannon is advantageous to understanding and theorising what will happen next but it shouldn't be required.
Lastly despite what the title and tags would have you believe this isn't a smut fic, s*xual content is expertly interwoven into the narrative but don't expect every other chapter to be about s*xual encounters, they are relegated to a few pharagraphs and then we return to our regularly sceduled Insanity.

Everything is perfect, from the plot to the characters. It didn't ruin the original story but further enhance it with the addition of comedy and smut that is impossible in that gu world. Lo jik also walks a cool path and without that 500 years of experience everything for him is a breath of fresh air that make him a balance. The reward mechanics isn't abuse since the MC doesn't f**k anything that breaths, he only does to someone at his level or have stronger cultivation.

World building? Outstanding, Character development? Oh yeah baby, Shameless and f**k-everyones attitude? Yessirr. Top-tier acting (Rizzler 9000) and also sometimes funny scenarios to read? Damn right. This brother know its stuff to actually bring this fanfic to life.
I think this is the best fanfic for reverend insanity has to offer, like bro. Each chapter is like long af, almost got bored in the first half because of it (but the story is good, and for the sake of world building. I mean? Since I don't read reverend insanity, might as well read this whole chapter thing and search the stuff that I dont understand so ykow. Worth it)
The only thing that I slightly dislike is the paragraph being confusing. It's like jump beetwenn scenarios too suddenly that its become slightly overload the text to understand and read. Fortunately its few.
Give it a read! I trust you its worth it.
