The 1 star review irked me so I'm taking the time to throw out my own review to try and balance the pot. Throwing a one star review at a novel based on one out of context statement from the author is both childish and egotistical but here we are. The rating system on here has always been easy to abuse to tank a novels views.
Now onto this novel. This is pure and simple wish fulfillment. Our MC wakes up in a cloned body with the modified powers of All For One (he copies powers without harming the original) but in the marvel universe. He starts out chilling in the Xmen mansion helping himself to a whole host of abilities and essentially becomes a god in short order.
Aron sets out to enjoy his life, seduces a few of his favourite heroines and absolutely destroys the idiots who come to try and mess with him, dude mercilessly wipes out a team of omega level mutants trying to kidnap a girl hes hanging with!
Theres a bit of an undercurrent as he tries to find out how he arrived in the MCU, who he was cloned from and all that but otherwise its him trying to love his life with tremendous power while balancing multiple girlfriends and making bank.
A deep an intellectual novel it may not be and it wont be winning story teller of the year but it is a very fun novel worth the time taken to read so long as you can disconnect that little voice in your head that says "that's not how it works in canon!"

A reader rightly complained about this story not making sense, with things arbitrarily working or not working on the main character because he's a "clone". The author replied telling the reader to read the comics to understand the story and reiterated that it makes perfect sense.
Mutant power sensors don't work on the main character but mutant power jammers do, while also not jamming the healing powers of the villian.
So in the authors own words this story can't stand on its own and requires reading the comics to understand it. Which is in itself odd since comics are not a source of logic, common sense or understanding in the first place. A comic book story that is in any way realistic or logical must go beyond the comics and stand on its own with the logic and reasoning of the author added in where there was previously none. Sadly that hasn't happened here and it leaves the whole story feeling whimsical and wishy washy at best.
