Expect a small but growing harem. There will, however, be no "trophy" waifus, and every single harem member will stay relevant for the entirety of the story.

Meet Alex, a 28-year-old loser and internet troll who spent his life glued to his PC, binging anime, games, and movies. His story comes to an abrupt end… or so he thinks. Instead of a peaceful afterlife, Alex wakes up in the Fantasy Realm, a chaotic universe where different fictional worlds collide, and survival is anything but guaranteed.
This fanfiction is inspired by works like Terror Infinity, Reincarnation Paradise, and The Ultimate Evolution.

One of the better multiverse system series I’ve read, while the character is growing relatively fast strength the author has done so the MC facing appropriate challenges.

I haven't seen the full meat of the story just yet, but it absolutely gets better every chapter. Even if it's fanfic of numerous popular fiction, it still manages to be its own thing. Alex is a self-aware hero who knows the ups and downs of isekai RPG mechanics. The first arc is based on One Piece, so that's already a plus for me.
My only gripe is that many of the chapters are way too short for my taste. I came here thinking I was gonna read at least 1.8k words per chapter, but it's more like 500-800 words. That's not to say it takes away from the writing, though. It's decent and consistent, even if there are some grammar and spelling mistakes.
Overall, go read this book now.

This is a very interesting read, a bit of a slow start but once it gets going the story pulls you in there are a bunch of stories with this premise that end up all reading the same but this one manages to carve out its own idenity in the gernre

The story overuses internal monologue to explain exactly what the characters are thinking and feeling, often multiple times within a single paragraph. While some telling is fine, this much explanation slows the pacing and makes the emotions feel forced rather than natural. More dialogue and subtle actions would help bring the characters to life and make their thoughts feel more organic and the damage mechanic is ass I hate it

Yo, this story is really good. If you like One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, or Final Fantasy, then you will probably enjoy this a lot. It has the best parts from all of those worlds and mixes them together in a way that feels natural. The fights are exciting, the characters are interesting, and the world feels big and full of adventure.
One Piece is great because of its crazy powers and unpredictable adventures. This story has that same feeling where you never know what will happen next, and every fight is creative. Hunter x Hunter is known for smart battles where characters have to think instead of just using strong attacks. This story does that too, making the fights more interesting. Final Fantasy is legendary because of its magic, monsters, and deep world-building. This story captures that same sense of a huge, detailed world full of danger and mystery.
If you like any of these, you should definitely read this. It has action, a good story, and a lot of exciting moments that make you want to keep going. 10/10, highly recommended.
