This seemed like a bit of a throwaway at first with the hook being a Gatcha system afterall. Each fun addition to the story by these Gathca pulls though absolutely added to the story quite a bit surprisingly.
These characters are quite distinct and bring a notable backstory that is possibly going to impact the story later on as Atlas and crew level and expand through this fascinating world.
This is a solid read for anyone that has a little time and wants a fun story and memorable characters.
Great job Author!

This is one of the more odd series I have read, in a good way.
And this entire review is my ranting on all its odd quirks and flaws
TL:DR if you can accept the MC power being a actually reasonable (for once) Gacha system, give it a go.
Otherwise, look elsewhere.
first off, the story's greatest strength and biggest flaw: the Gacha system.
If you can not accept that the protagonists luck is a major and intentional factor in the story, I would recommend looking elsewhere for something to read.
As far as I can tell the system is "fair" (so far) and has caused at least some hiccups in plans our mc's plans.
as in the kind of hiccups that Speed up their progress, not slow it down.
If that's a good or bad thing is left to be decided by the reader.
if you can accept that (as of chapter 51) it's a decent enough story whos greatest flaw is that it feels like every thing is a bit of stop and start.
Hopping from one plot thread to the next with very little interconnectedness
there are some over arching plot lines and the vague threat of elimination at the hand of other "lords".
The world building is there... is just about all I can say, it serves to make at least a somewhat interesting setting for all the battles to take place on, but nothing deeper has been explored (yet), the main focus is on the mc's island, that's probably where it needs to be.
what would make it a lot better though is if the characters on said island were more... Alive
this is the single biggest fault of the story for me and I pray it gets better in the future chapters
I struggle with this sense that someone picked an archetype for each of the characters and made them into everything that archetype "should be", which is usually fine if you Also include, remove or replace some of those traits to make them into unique characters
the ones that stand out most for me in this aspect is "the butler", "the arrogant vampire queen" and "the introvert with a aggressive split personality".
By reading those three concepts you now know what to expect from those characters, at least so far.
over all, a novel concept with good execution that leaves me wanting more.
might come back update this review later, idk.
Edit: Formating

Gacha is a great method for developing an MC and his situation without having to create a bunch of windfall scenarios. So you can have a plot devoid of such things and passively progress the MC. The author had a couple shakey moments early in the fic but they have really picked up the momentum worth a read and I look forward to future content.
