The story is good, I can see the author put a lot of thought on it. However there is almost no "rest period" between the plot. The MC is always doing something, he has no time for anything but work. There's so much to do that it seems the author forgets some quests. Also, the work he does doesn't have gratification, he gains almost nothing doing it besides getting stronger.

He doesn't know how to delegate work, the MC pushes himself to do everything, he has a lot of friends but doesn't seek help even tho he says he would. I feel he has a lot of responsabilities but gets no reward for his work. The "s*xual" reward is always pushed aside. I say this because in this DC universe almost everyone likes polyamorous relationship.

The romance is really bad, his early girlfriends are prostitutes. Every time a woman shows she wants s*x or deeper relationship with him he pushes them to other man because he likes "polyamorous relationships" and is OK with them having s*x with other men, he even encourages them to have s*x with others too. The majority of times someone wants to have s*x with him he says "Maybe next time..." and the 'next time' he says the same. It's like he doesn't have the good part of a polyamorous relationship and has all the bad part. It makes no sense for me why the author decided on this take, that's why a lot of people say the MC likes cuckholding. The author excuse of this is BS too.

Honestly the story is good, if you like this novel then it's because of it. Try to skip the romance and the parts where about his girlfriends having s*x or talking about having s*x with others, it will only frustrate you. I enjoyed reading but it frustrates me to no end so I gave 4 stars.

I made an account for this site purely for the fact that I wanted to write a review for this story, but please understand that I will not be going into too much details. If you want a very thorough explanation on the attributes on the story please refer to the review "Goldaer" wrote.

One word I would use to describe this story: Incredible

In fact I would even say it is too incredible. I read the story all the way through when it had about 102 or 103 chapters and surprisingly entered a slump mentally after realizing I had caught up to the most recent post (though I must admit circumstances not related to the book also factored into the slump). The main point I am trying to get across is that this story is absolutely hypnotizing in the way you get sucked into it.

On the other hand there are a couple spelling mistakes every now and then (though you can't really blame the author as they post close to 10, 000 words every time).

This next part may be a bit of a spoiler, though I am not completely sure, so I will put it behind a spoiler.

This story is a joy to witness and experience. Honestly, it brings forth ideas and thought processes that I would have never considered or imagined outside of a universe such as the author's universe.

On a less serious note, I believe this story has become my next addiction until my interest begins to wane. (It has also made me even do a bit of research into the way magic works in the DC and Marvel universes)

I personally so far am loving the unfolding of the story and if I have to criticize it is that the MC still hasn't helped to feed the poor Constantino horny because by God the poor man sees the MC and almost falls to his knees. Above anything, please note this review comes from the 137th chapter and has a few spoilers, though nothing story related, you've been warned...

Reading some of the reviews, I'm going to put down my grain of salt as a biased reader.

First, I consider this read to be excellent. The power scaling was done well enough that the protagonist, Erik, feels like he struggles most of the chapters (until B ranks at the very least). Of course, that's because I compare him to the powerhouses he interacts with such as Superman and Wonderwoman, the top of the food chain in DC Comics. The diversity of abilities this story touches does make you dream through the magic and superpowers exposed.

On what is considered a negative part, however, do be warned, the protagonist really, REALLY waits for his first time with someone. This wait is further exacerbated by abilities such as Passive Charm which makes him question whether having s*x with someone affected by his abilities is mind control... so expect a casual harem with very few lemon scenes, even those aren't really detailed.

Furthermore, another 'negative point' is that after B rank, the power scaling doesn't really work because Erik starts reaching the top of the power scale, he becomes a god! He could summon a sun (almost) ! He's a 200 foot monster with tentacles (completely true) ! 

This connects with the fact that this is a wish-fulfillment read, the protagonist will succeed and if it turns you off, it's probably not for you. The whole concept of this read is the Dream System, it allows Players to become protagonists in a known fantasy world, it is made around the idea that the system aims to create a compelling story for the players, which they should enjoy living through as their alter egos... it is wish fulfillment, but please note that, in its design, it's not your wish that is fulfilled, we live through Erik, and thus share his desires.

Overall, expect a compelling story, that, in my opinion, is one of the best of the genre through using a system to quantify the progress of a protagonist. It is mostly based in the DC comics but please note that small story arcs will happen in other universes, including but not limited to the Movie Marvel Comics for instance.

Whelp, editing my original review of the story (today's date is 5/1/23). Keeping it at a 5 star review.

World building - Author has taken an established world (DC) and managed to make it more realistic. Several points throughout the story the MC and others call out the hypocrisy of the League regarding who they will and will not kill. Each character has significant growth. This is all within a dream system that allows for basically anything you can think of to happen. Including Nightmare mode.

For the comments regarding plot holes, overall each item or event does seem to have consequences. We may not see them for dozens of chapters, but they do happen. We see a lot of time spent in certain events that change up the timeline. We as the reader may see years worth of events, however MC's home world (they are taken to alternate dimensions) may have only had like a month or so go by. Not to forget, this is also the MC having to do a lot of legwork so to speak. How often do you as a reader forget to do something for months at a time, only for that to come back and bite you in the @$$.

As for power scaling, yes MC gets a few major jumps but those always come back to bite him again in the @$$. At one point, MC is able to get what is considered an A class major item they were not supposed to get for at least another 3-4 years based on in story events, however by getting this it brought the attention of big dogs they weren't ready for even then. This is DC, home of Darkseid, Perpetua, Trigon, Nekron, and Brainiac to name a few. Power scaling might as well never be brought up.

To those commenting on MC "giving away" the women who are attracted to him or that he is a cuck, this is NOT a harem story (they specifically call it a polyamorous relationship), this is a were-pack for lack of better term. Each member of the pack is exactly what the others need at that specific time; a lover, a friend, a sibling, a home. He is the alpha of said pack. A true alpha is not the one going around beating everyone up who slights them and stealing women for their own use not caring what anyone has to say, but someone who is caring for said pack and ensuring their well being. This includes waiting for said members who will join him in his bed to be ready for it. Several of them are coming out of either horrific events (including hinted history of MC), or they are struggling with the concept of sharing MC with others.

Overall a very solid read. For those that this is not your cup of tea, if you can't leave a constructive criticism please kindly just quietly leave. When you leave such negative and hateful remarks, authors tend to lose interest which then takes away from us that actually enjoy this type of read. Should I instead follow your lead and find the books you like, _hit all over them to the point the author drops the work thus depriving you of something to read?
