Well in my humble opinion... jokes! Ima do a proper review because I thought I'd already done one. If you've read a Harem-fan novel before then youve come to the right place. His writing style is the same as always and lots of fun is waiting for you.

If you've not read a HF novel before then you're in for a treat but seriously check out his other works as they are fantastic and well worth losing a weekend for! 

This novel tells the story of a young lad in a world where only women can use magic and men use aura. This makes all women mages and all men knights. Only our boy is special in that hes one of the super rare that can use both. 

This has been seen a few times in the past and historically the children born from such men are guaranteed to be powerful. As a result the poor lad is literal catnip for every female around and because hes a mage he has to study at the all girl magic school.

Politics, drama, romance and a heaping pile of comedy ensue. The lad has women lining up and with the help of his exceptional summons tries to live a good life.

Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and everyone's opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say. Ah that's right. I really enjoy all of Harem-Fan's stories and highly recommend this one.

It's a fun one so far. The plot is pretty good even though its mostly leading to more women. The interactions between friends and lovers are generally enjoyable to read.

I do have some minor issues with it but overall it comes to down to reading preferences.

• Amount of women ramps up pretty fast, leading to some getting sidelined only getting a short mention sometimes.

• For a "dating sim game" world the relationships move at lightspeed. You'd think there would be more dating involved.
• There is also little down time for family stuff, it's mostly timeskipped over. But it does get better as the novel progresses.
• Not much build up during r18 fun times. It's not a smut novel, however the scenes that are there are a bit rushed for my tastes.
• The rate of power increase seems a bit over the top compared to earlier geniuses. Sure some are special but how is no one raising an eye?

  A rank 5 succubus summon can just powerlevel someone from rank 3 to 8 while "feeding" on a low level chump in a few months?

• Author tends to spoil quite a bit in the novel itself making it hard to avoid. Some pretty big surprises were given away early. Not a huge issue but it does ruin some the foreshadowing. It would be more easily avoidable if kept to the A/N.

Is there a tag for wholesome harem? Because there should be for this... 

The story is super fun to read and does a good job of going back and forth between romance/slice-of-life and action/adventure. The story structure allows the narrative to get pushed along at a entertaining pace without being full gas while still introducing a ton of love interests seamlessly. Huge props to the author for finding a nice balance. 

The author does an excellent job with memorable characters. Even with all the tropes common in harems, the author still finds ways of giving everyone personalities that make sense and keep things interesting. 

The magic system is worth mentioning as well, which may appear straightforward, but actually has some depth to it. The way magic is used in the world has a significant impact on society, leading to some fun consequences. Additionally, the magic system provides for battles that don't feel overly prolonged or drawn out.

Looking forward to reading more. Don't listen to the haters. Keep improving.

Really nice story. The author nicely combines romance (no Pokemon harem) and some comedy for a nice reading experience. The characters are all fleshed out and the harem never feels like it is Member 1, Member 2..., all of the girls in the harem have individual characteristics. Some nice side characters are present too. Magic/knight system is also well thought out.

Absolutely superb!! I cannot get enough of this series! Also, Harem-Fan is awesome to talk to in the comments. He has a great sense of humor and understands how to create such intriguing characters and dynamic world building that grips the reader by the kiwis and you cannot stop until you’ve binged dozens of chapters! With great skill taken each chapter is filled with great plot points to move the story along... the one thing I do not like is just page after page of smut and ecchi scenes... the love scenes though brief are enough to give the reader that small tribute they’re looking for when reading a harem series... one thing I must say is even though this is a harem Sam’s wives and mistresses are all superb! They’re so well written each lady would actually make a brilliant MC in her own series... even side characters are written absolutely incredible that in itself shows how talented Harem-Fan is at writing! The action is perfect, the comedy is pure gold! I laugh so much while reading this and I must say that each woman is totally different in skill, personality and beauty... they each bring something to the table that makes Sam and their family unit as a whole unstoppable... also each woman gets great page time.. not like other series where the harem is big and out of control and the MC only spends time with favourites... all of Sam’s wives get their attention and love while also showcasing their skills when battle happens or political events are transpiring. Definitely add this to your list and start reading it immediately!!

If you want something more satisfying than a frustrating anime style harem this is a good choice. A power fantasy with adult relationships, a believably good protagonist that gets together with women who try to make the situation work and be happy in a mostly genuine and understandable way. No harem related overdone melodrama, excessive intrigue or conflicts. The characters spend time off screen making efforts at improving themselves and maintaining the family cohesion in ways that makes sense to them and every character is mostly distinct.

There is as always problems with screen time for any favorite girls one might have in harem stories, especially when we get to numbers above days of the week, but no one is ever ignored or forgotten in anyway that feels bad. So overall a stellar feels good harem that progress at a good pace, no cursed chaste eternal virgins or 3 seasons for a kiss in a dream or other bullsh*t.
