Just a very well-written isekai story about a genuinely evil person making their way through a classic OI villainess scenario.
The writing is genuinely standout. Feels very much like reading a “real novel” with few exceptions. The author doesn’t feel the need to spoon-feed the readers with exposition, though that also means at least once when I was reading I had to go back to a previous chapter because I hadn’t picked up on something. It’s mostly my fault for kind of skim reading the early chapters.
The LitRPG elements are pretty light. Honestly I would prefer a more fleshed out system, but I know that a lot of people prefer this style, and it works well with the story.
my biggest complaint so far is that the prologue was too long and I’m still on the fence about the alt POV we’ve gotten. It felt too long and unnecessary at the time, but we’re still early on in the story so I may come around on it, depending on how that part of the story goes.
