I really enjoyed the read, the MC was described as competent and smart, even though he had personality problems which is fine.

He didn't give in to seduction and didn't ejaculate in a woman that was trying to get pregnant for political gain.

He's the typical sigma/Alpha MC. Him doing everyone is cool, a girl that has had a playful/loose youth is a dirty whore.

^^ These aren't my favourite type of MC'S but you know it's a thing if you read stories with a Alpha/sigma MC. All in all there isn't a problem with them for me as long as they ain't wearing thick plot armor and just fits the character

What I do have a problem with is if they're described as smart and capable while in reality they're not.

The MC had been calculating since the start yet when he meets his fiancee which hasn't done anything to disrespect him he calls her a whore and is needlessly aggressive. Just because she's loose, as dhorne woman typically are.

I don't mind a MC having this opinion, what I do mind is that he makes a future ruler of Dhorne and a political figure into a enemy when he doesn't even have political backing there yet.

There where tons of ways not to marry the woman, he could've just been honest with her and make her realize they wouldn't fit.

But no, he's a sigma MC and needed to show his manhood by being rude, to show a woman her place even if it's stupid to do.

I wouldn't mind this if the MC was goofy or just a idiot but when you describe someone as smart and calculating and then pull something like this, while the plot and system will make sure everything becomes alright it's just one big plot hole. (I haven't read further yet but it's so predictable I can already write the review, will edit if I'm wrong).

Love the story, love the grammar, don't mind the MC but hate the plot armour and holes.

Would give it a 3/5 (since grammar etc is good) but since I know that writing novels is hard work and I don't want to down vote this based on a personal opinion I'll give it a 5/5
