Maple was the strongest player in the game of new world online, however, Kaede Honjou was just your average Japanese lady who just wanted to spend some time with her girlfriend and the rest of her friends.
She never imagined she would be summoned to another world so similar to her favourite game as a weapon for war.
Join Maple as she fights through a dangerous world, while gaining the attention of the powers that be...

Starts off with the classic slavery arc, because we all know that the best MCs always have to be a slave at some point and that it isn't a lazy writing trope that kills much of the interest an MC is supposed to have. Top it all off with the author being snotty to even minor criticism and acting like readers should already know everything about the story, like the timeline, before they point out issues.
Also, author, only magic cast through an Ultimate skill can seal away an Ultimate skill so major gimmick plot hole there, maybe next time don't act like a smug know it all.
Edit: Nevermind it gets even worse and it becomes very apparent that the author isn't writing an MC to be a real person. Because who in their right mind actively tries to remain ignorant of their abilities after they have been kidnapped and 'enslaved'...

Long live Kaede, Mother of Ants, Plants... and machines, I guess.
MC does start off by being summoned by Falmuth, but it's not much of a slavery arc as mentioned by the negative reviewers. Her powers negate all of the control their mages try to place on her, so she sticks around to steal some free training and supplies, and maybe rescue one of the summoned heroes she befriended. All in all, it matches with how the kingdom acts in the original story so I'm not sure why people are complaining about a fanfiction mirroring the anime in that regard.
I didn't notice any glaring grammatical issues, and Kaede's reactions seem to be in-line with how she would act suddenly thrust in the situation that she's in. It's an entertaining story overall.
She escapes Falmuth around Ch. 35ish so the story will only pick up from there, having all the time and freedom in the world to p̶l̶o̶t̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶l̶d̶ ̶d̶o̶m̶i̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ ̶ have a wholesome adventure with her friends and family.

How do I begin... Starts of with classic slavery arc that is full of plot holes and bs reasonings that made my head hurt.I would have thrown it away instantly after that, but decided to go though the chapters to write a decent review.
I came here to read Kaede in Tensura, not a helpless girl enslaved in tensura world. Bad:
- Ridicoulous plot barely fitting into tensura and not at all into bofuri- One time author writes something and forgets about it next chapter or changes it a little later- Author doesn't even seem to know how do skills in Tensura work at all. Good:
- The grammar is actually decent. - Chapter long for the time between each releases.
All in all. Wasted potential so badly I feel sad.
I know it's not easy to write, but ffs when people are telling you what to do to make it better you shouldn't just ignore it. You might have your own ideas, but once everyone reading it says that something is not right you should think about it.
Edit: slavery arc ends at ch 36. Gets way better from there. Overwall would give 4/5, but due to the beggining I give 3.

Is it perfect? No. But is it still fun? Absolutely. Though there's points here and there that could have been done better, it's still miles better than a lot of the slop that gets posted on SH.

A really fun read.
I don't really vibe with Crossovers usually. But the Author here has done a good job, and does a quite a good job at writing action and keeping me engaged whenever they post.
Now let's address what the negative reviews have to say, The slavery thing while being a trope, it isn't for everyone and I can understand why they could dislike but I don't think it is done poorly here.
Two: the author coming off as arrogant, this one I don't really see. Not to glaze the author but I dont think they are, and at the end of the day, it is their fic, and they should create for themselves first.
TLDR; Fun story with good writing that keeps the spirits of the original shows while going in their own direction.
So author keep up the good work, and, please ignore my awful grammar as I usually dont write reviews, and I look forward to what you do next! :)

Honestly the slave arc just isn’t really entertaining but my real issue is the MC... like who tf is this? This girl is nothing like Kaede, this MC is a coward, wimpy, pathetic. It was hard on the eyes to even read the first few chapters. The real kaede in an airhead who thinks of most people as possible friend, she isn’t really shown to be afraid of anyone or anything other then pain which is fair enough. This MC seems to actively try to not learn anything about her powers and gets spooked whenever anyone says anything remotely mean to her. Author idk what type is sazz you were mouth inhaling but you gotta hook me up.

Very entertaining, and honestly the quality is much higher than many fanfics Ive seen. Now regarding the "slavery arc" which seems to be exaggerated, all I will say is that there is not much to it.
MC regained her powers in like 2 chapters and nullified all controlling spells placed on her. She chose not to escape immediately due to her wanting to familiarize herself with the world she has been summoned to as well as her regained abilities. As she met other summoned heroes and got closer to some of them, she decided to try and break them from the control spells, though it takes time for her skill to analysis the bindings, hence her prolonged stay in Falmuth.
All in all, this story has both the serious moments we see in Tensura and lighthearted/cute interactions in Bofuri. And most importantly, Maple's tendency to cause chaos and achieve the impossible!

Enjoyable reading experience overall, solid writing and character growth, the plot is nothing super complex but it is more substantial than a lot of other fanfics set in this universe, if you're looking for a fun, light but also a bit more grounded story in this setting this is the story for you. I know I've been enjoying it a lot myself and will continue to do so... Well that's all I guess, give a read if anything I've said tickle's your fancy, happy reading!!! ☺️👍

A nice read to relax from other complex novel. I don't see many grammar mistakes in here, maybe the previous readers have notified the author.
All in all, a good read but I wouldn't recommend it to you if you're into complex novel plots. The slave arc is a little frustrating but it's good after that arc. Thanks for the work author.

It's... fine. A perfectly acceptable story.
I don't think that Kaede in this is very analogous to Maple from BOFURI, and she's pretty much just given the solution to every problem by Artificia (also known as knock-off Great Sage) who is the only person on the protagonist's side of things with any agency, so far as I can tell. As for this being a Tensura crossover, Rimuru is not in this up to the point I read. It just takes place in a similar universe.
There was a moment, early on in the story that was good,
when Kirara and Kaede were out shopping together,
All in all, a standard LitRPG OP Protagonist Isekai (gods, it hurts even to type that) that creates a story by building with tropes, rather than those tropes emerging naturally when the story is built. And the tropes it uses aren't really good ones, in my opinion. You can really see the hand of the author when reading.
I do accept the Kaede-Risa ship though.
