Synopsis

The living weapon has vanished from the public eye.

After centuries of non-stop fighting against evil and realizing his battle would never end, he decided to abandon humanity in the hopes of finally finding some peace in his life.

Thus, he decided to erase his own memories and rejuvenate his body into that of a small child in an attempt to get a second chance at living.

But after making his announcement, the whole world decided to embark on a giant search to see who could get their hands on the blessed sword of the gods first, and obtain its power to themselves.

The only clue as to where his location might be rests on a young girl who fights using a wooden crossbow as her weapon of choice.

Can this girl find the old warrior and restore his faith in humanity while trying to survive the dangers of this magical world?

This is a great read! The premise itself is very fun and intriguing.

For people who are more interested in world building? Don't skip it. The book has in-depth and detailed world building. Also, I don't think there would be an update issue for the next 100 chapters, since I have already read this for a while slowly at Webnovel.

The characters, although a bit superficial, I love them all. The author tries his best to give them depth and analyze things from their perspective, justifying their viewpoints and decisions.

Good enough. Honestly, the story is a mixture of a bit of everything. My only advice is that although it's great to have multiple characters, the author should be careful not to stray far away from any of the important ones and try to balance!

Overall, don't knock it off before you atleast give the first 20-30 chapters a read, or you'll regret it.
