Nereus Leomaris Tritanus Azr was the crowned King of the Leviathan race and the ruler of the Seven Seas kingdom of Nepturion. After being betrayed and losing his life, his family, and the throne that was rightfully his, Nereus swore with his dying breath that he would reclaim his kingdom and have his vengeance against those who betrayed him.

Thousands of years later he finally got his second chance by being reborn into the magical and savage undersea world that he once knew, but as a lame and unremarkable merboy named Argent Nyx.

With this second chance, Nereus must now figure out how to regain the kingdom he'd lost long ago and adjust to his new body, all while navigating the troubled waters of this foreign yet familiar undersea world, dodging murderous stepsiblings, and uncovering deep dark secrets that threaten the existence of all life within the Ten Seas.
