The holy knight Carmen never questioned his beliefs, even while he laid dying at the hands of a vampire. But death would not be the end for him. When Carmen next woke up, he found himself "alive" once again in the body of an animated corpse—a zombie—that was forced to slave away in the mines of a human kingdom.
As a proud, former knight, Carmen could not allow this wretched practice to continue. He must find a way to escape, regain his body and status, and uncover the truth. But there was something strange about this body...it was that of a little girl.

This novel is a great story with a great plot, fancy characters and fluffy yuri romance.
The more enjoyable elements for me are the world that give you the feeling that there so much to discover, and the beautiful romance that have the MC.
I advise that the plot is very slow at the beginning, so have some patience
Edit: after reading the novel complete I have to say that for me it's a master piece with the only problem that the ending came too fast and the novel had much potential for a incredible development.
the story is incredible but had the potential to be much more, bye Camilla and Kagriss! I will miss you two!

Honestly, I only checked this out because I'm a fan of gender-bender stories especially with yuri. But those things take a while to kick in here. (The protagonist mostly being bothered by his new body being small, rather than being female.)
But the compelling beginning hooked me in swiftly and kept me interested so far. Later, the romance kicks in and I've found it really adorable and found the few smutty scenes tastefully done. The only problem for me is the protagonist's goal (and hence the plot) being somewhat vague and distant.
Anyway, great read. I love it so much I am probably going to chip in on Patreon.

Review contains light spoilers
Before the big battle in the Necropolis (about 15chp), everything were wonderful. It seemed that it would be a comedy Yuri with op MC, cuteness, misunderstadings etc. But further I read, more doubts I have.
There are no critical problems, but a bunch of small ones which creates some kind of dissatisfaction and heartache. Like, I don't want to drop, but I can't keep reading.
MC is clearly not very interested in gaining strength (although there was a hunting ground in front of him). Such mindset always feels strange, considering we are talking about world where individuals can demolish cities.
Her goal to reveal the sins of the church seems meaningless. (considering that the church does not pose a threat to her personally and cannot influence the world globally)
The author pours too much water. Usually I rarely complain about this, because water with romance and fluff is equal to honey, but here... it feels like the author has Chinese roots... in bad way, like, he is paid for every symbol (no offense)
Also, the author intentionally skips more important things. For example, the appearance of a lich girl (who is female lead, or at least spoilers say that). And her harassment to MC. Imho, but I would prefer to see the Pov chapter about her first appearance, and skip half of the battle in the Necropolis. And a couple of paragraphs about her harassment, instead half a chapter about Anne's possession (so that you understand, her target isn't MC, and she isn't MC too, so I cant care less).
Too little yuri and fluff. I have read 1/6 of the work and normally, at this moment at least a "kissing stage" is expected. In general, the author was a little deceptive with the synopsis. Creates false expectations that the main theme will be yuri and sweetness.
Plus, in the spoilers of some readers, although blurry, it seems we have sad end... (and now reread the synopsys)
I wanted to read story in one strike in a week or two, because first 10chp catch my interest, but the desire disappeared 20 chapters later. Most likely I will continue to read a chapter per day, but it questionable

God tier series that quite frankly rivals if not overshadows many officially released novels. You will not find a greater example of a well written series as the pacing is amazing, I can't recall any errors in the actual grammar and it's got cute yuri moments.
Not to mention the MC is strong - not overwhelmingly so (at least at the start) but it's not like many characters that lose everything and start from the beginning as a noob. She actually carries her skill and experience with her to allow her to grow quickly.
