Just like how cracking the atom gave humans the ability to destroy themselves and nuclear power, the Waifu Catalog granted me immense power to do whatever I wanted. I could kill worlds, enslave whole civilizations, or establish an eternal empire of oppression where genocides are a daily occurrence.
But... isn't that disappointing? Listening to such base desires? Proving that we are nothing more than slightly evolved animals? Rather than all that, perhaps it's finally time for a Contractor to do some good with the powers given to them by the Company. To start, I'm placed within one of the worst apocalypses across all of the Multiverse: SCP-001 When Day Breaks, a scenario where the sun transforms all who bathe under its light into waxy, fleshy monsters.
I should be fine, given how I'm in the body of Foreigner-class Servant Kukulkan, arguably the strongest Lostbelt King.
I should be fine, right?
Right?

Current World: SCP-001 When Day Breaks
General Opinion
Overall, the writing is solid, and the story progresses well. It has a lot of potential, particularly for readers who enjoy "heroic" and "savior" histories.
Personal opinion
For me, this story feels more like a 3 out of 5 rather than a 4 out of 5. While it has great potential, some of it is undermined by the MC and the way the story begins. Readers familiar with Fate, SCP, and whatever "waifu something something" is mentioned at the start (I don't remember what it was) might find it easy to follow, as they can skip over things they already understand. However, for someone like me, who hasn't read or watched any Fate series, SCP, or that particular "waifu" reference, the introduction felt confusing. An extra chapter explaining these concepts in a general way could be helpful for newcomers.
I've pushed myself to read up to this point, but I truly can't continue. The main character feels unrealistically naive, as if they've never been exposed to news or reality. How can a normal person in today's society be so "innocent"? Of course, this is your story, and you do what you want with it. However, I feel like the protagonist comes across as having a savior and moralist complex, believing they can save everyone, a normal person would understand that this is simply not possible.
That said, I acknowledge that this story will likely appeal to readers who enjoy "heroic" or "savior" narratives. Personally, it’s not my type of story, but I didn’t want to give it a 3-star rating because I recognize that other readers might appreciate what you're creating, maybe when it has like 200 chapters or something I will come again and force read this story to see if it has become something interesting.
Good luck author, don't be discouraged by my review, I may not be able to appreciate your story, but maybe other people can.
