I used to have it all—popularity, a carefree high school life, and the attention of anyone I wanted. But then I met Keiko. She wasn’t like the others—quiet, reserved, completely unfazed by my usual charm. I don’t know why, but something about her pulled me in. Before I knew it, our lives got tangled in ways I never expected, leading to a mess neither of us saw coming.
And just when I thought things couldn’t get worse… I mysteriously woke up as a girl. Now, I’m stuck in a body that isn’t mine, forced to navigate a life that’s spiraling out of control.

This story is very well written and super adorable. I haven't read a gender change story like this one before, where the MC tries to make up for their past wrongs with family after the change. It's very well done and you find yourself rooting for the MC and their family to fall in love again. Can't wait for more!

I am genuinely in love with this story. Rarely do you see a story about an unlikeable protagonist (at the start) finding a second chance and mending their relationship with their family. Instead of typical isekais where the protagonist leaves everything behind, consequences be damned, and starts a new life, we see how Ryusei (Ryuko) is forced to face the consequences of his (her) actions in their current life. In doing so, we see them slowly grow as a person as well as heal past wounds and traumas.
Overall, the story is well-written, with much character and whimsy. I admire the maturity by which the story deals with character flaws and mistakes. It's a beautiful and comforting feeling to know that, despite how much you mess up, there is always a second chance if you change and try hard enough. Highly recommend!
