Sasaki Kaede is a mage with a dream, to reach the Number One, a title that will ensure that she's the strongest person in the world, the current title is the strongest adventurer in the world, Akabane Osamu, wanting to achive her dream, Kaede enlists in the guild Récolter and befriends it's aloff leader, Okazaki Momoko and together the two along with various members of the guild venture out into the dangerous world around them to achive their dreams as Kaede does all that she can to beat Osamu and achieve the Number One.
