Two identical women of identical circumstances: declared a boy, raised a boy, and rejecting it in adulthood. Becoming a woman of her own making, only to have that hard-fought life snatched away in two diverging paths to the same destination: death.

But they are not done. Nor is the young man they find themselves drawn to, passing through the afterlife into his mind in a different world.
