In the second spell book, we meet Veda, Emi's cousin. She's from the coven of witches that exiled Emi. She's also a teenager with a whole gaggle of teenage cousins causing trouble and up to no good. Things abruptly shift when the writer of a new spell book comes to town searching for his other half.
