Characters
Family of the protagonist.

The protagonist: Erlig Grimes. Was twenty-two years old before transmigration. Eighteen years old is the age of a new body. First-year of Birchland high.
Through some unknown incident ends up in the body of the biological son of Greg Grimes and the deceased Darcy Wells.
Lives with his father and a stepmother, Annie Grimes. His new family is poor.
Around 189cm tall. Wide shoulders, to a degree thin waist, well-defined muscles. Large dick. Ordinary face, dark hazel eyes, unkempt short dark hair. Narrow face while his cheeks are slightly sunken. After a few months of training slimmed down on muscles and his facial features are much sharper now. He looks more similar to his original face. Got a scar on his nose bridge from Reid.
Had unnaturally huge strength and stamina for someone who never trained systematically for a long time. His recovery speed is highly above average.
The previous body owner was described as a kind and introverted individual. Even though he is bigger than most of his peers, he is shy, gentle, and naïve. The teacher's assessment states that despite his tremendous physical form, he pursues the path of a poet. Finding joy in studying, reading books, and writing poems. He doesn’t belong to this "cruel school." Has three close friends among students.
Personality. After transmigration, his original personality started changing drastically. As his memories were growing vague and he was influenced by the original body host. The most prominent was the fact that he forgot about his goaldream. He was fairly intelligent in his childhood. He was always kind and compassionate, and as he grew up, he tried to answer his parent’s expectations. Yet as he was introverted and didn’t want to destroy the status quo, he started fearing failures. Combined with his low self-esteem, it brought him a lot of troubles and made him weak-willed, lazy, and indecisive. Taken out of his bubble his worst traits started acting up. He was extremely selfish and self-absorbed. In a new world, he didn’t know what to do. His innate kindness torments him every time he thinks of Violetta. While his weak will made him a target of bullying and coercion.
As of chapters 53-54, he finally snapped and started to grow as a person. Though he is still limited in his actions and can’t act as he wants he started working hard towards his new goals. The first goal is getting his revenge and the second is attaining freedom of will and actions.

Greg Grimes. 38 years old. White-collar worker for a big company.
Soon after his wife passed away, he remarried.
Around 190cm tall. Looks younger than his actual age. Has a big build and looks tough. His face is stern and weary. Erlig looks a lot like him. Has the same dark hair that looks unkempt and dark hazel eyes.
Personality. Stern but kind. Though he tries to think of his son as a grown man doesn’t trust him that much. There is something that worries and pains him deeply.

Annie ‘Ann’ Grimes. 27 years old. Housewife.
Took the surname of her husband.
Around 164cm tall. Looks very young for her age. Gives a maturecountryside feeling. Body type slender with some curves. Has dark brown hair that she usually ties with a simple band into a low, side-tail. Clear light brown eyes, small nose. Has thin and pale lips. There is a tiny beauty mark in the corner of her mouth. Prefers to wear close to minimal amounts of makeup.
Personality. Apparently, she didn't get along with the previous Erlig. Has a low presence most of the time. Cares a lot about her husband and stepson. Lately started taking more proactive actions to bond with her stepson and tries to fit the role of a mother. Cares a lot about Erlig’s love life and love to gossip. However, due to the fact that she previously lived in the countryside, she doesn’t have any friends in Kibryn. Thus she was mostly spending her time alone at home.

Team Brave and Bold.

Jessie Arndt. Eighteen years old. First-year of Birchland High, as well as a representative of the MMA team "Brave and Bold".
Saved Erlig from jumping down the bridge and offered her help.
Around 170cm tall. Has a trained figure with a small chest. Beautiful face. Her short platinum blonde hair is shaved on the sides and is usually tied in a small ponytail. Has a piercing at the corner of her left eyebrow.
Personality. She is a kind and bold person that gives her all to the world of martial arts. Can sometimes forget herself as she talks about her passion. She can feel under the weather. She proactively invited Erlig into her team, and as soon as he agreed, she decided to train him personally. She is very faithful to her team and protective of Erlig to the point of recklessness. She was ready to fight with Reid even though she didn’t stand any chance against him. Though, why she has such an interest is yet to be answered as she seemingly has no romantic feelings towards him. She had some sort of an argument with her father concerning Erlig and thus distanced herself. However, as of chapter 66, she was appointed as the head coach of Erlig by her father. As she thinks of team members as her family, she is almost always surrounded by a large group of people. Some new and young team members made a small clique with her as a central figure.
Prefers sporty clothes. Likes to wear clothes with the logo of her team, Brave and Bold.

Paul Arndt. Around forty years old. The founder of the MMA team "Brave and Bold".
Around 187cm tall. Has a somewhat boorish face. His short black hair was grizzled, he combs them back and has small, neat sideburns. Has big dark round eyes and a large nose. He is in good physical shape.
Personality. A doting father and cheerful man. He respects other people’s personal space and doesn’t overstep his boundaries. Lately, he has had trouble both with his work and his daughter, Jessie. He is actually smart and reasonably cunning, but he isn’t suited to manage a large team like Brave and Bold. Despite this fact, he loves his team deeply. He tries to answer the demands and requests of his team members.

Patrice Vidal. Age in his late thirties. One of the head coaches that teaches striking in the team Brave and Bold. He came from France and was a Savateur there.
Around 200 cm tall. Lean, black guy, previously with a short spiky haircut. His hands are disproportionately long. Right now, his hair is cut short and has a pattern trimmed on the sides of his head.
Personality. He looks intimidating, however, he constantly has a gentle smile on him. He is a calm and collected man. Though he is a coach, he doesn’t like to put pressure on his trainees.

Madeline 'Maddie' Moore. Age 26. Team member of Brave and Bold and a close friend of Jessie and Tatiana.
Around 159 cm tall. Looks younger than her age. Her stature is small, and she doesn't have pronounced womanly curves, she is thin. Her pixie haircut is dyed in a light shade of green. Her face is attractive, and she has big, clear green eyes.
She looked like she was in her late twenties. Attractive small face with a pixie haircut, clear, big eyes, slim bodyline with small curves in all the right places.
Personality. She is cheerful but can turn serious in no time. As she is older than Jessie and even Tatiana, she tries to look after them as a big sister.

Tatiana 'Tanya' Nabokova. Age 25. One of the head coaches in the team, Brave and Bold, specializes in physical development.
Around 189 cm tall.  Her physique is muscly. She isn't ripped like a bodybuilder, her muscles balanced with her body fat. Even though she has a wide shoulder and thick arms, she looks womanly, and her breasts are especially big. Her light brown hair gathered in a thick braid that she usually coils around her neck. Her eyes are big and have brown color as well.
Personality. She acts bold and looks like she is unperturbed by a single thing. She is hardcore when it comes to training. Thus she scares not only any man from approaching her but any team members as well. Behind her cheerful face, she hides her boredom and a shy, vulnerable personality. She isn't used to being at the receiving end of a compliment from a man.

Birchland High students and staff.

Elle Barr. Eighteen years old. First-year of Birchland High.
Seemingly has some kind of relationship with Jet behind the backs of her friends.
Around 169cm tall. Good body proportions, long and slender legs, tight waist, and protruding chest and butt. Cute-looking face with a short bowl-like haircut of chestnut color. She is a class representative as well as a runner.
Personality. A typical tomboy from any romance-related artwork or literature. She values her friendship with Joanne a lot. After Erlig cut ties with Joanne, Elle decided to do the same with him. However, when Jet got injured she forgot about any of her grudges. She showed that she cares deeply for Jet, and due to him being in the hospital she lost her cheerfulness.

Joanne Marsh. Eighteen years old. First-year of Birchland High.
Probably was forced into a sexual relationship with Reid. Apparently has a crush on Erlig.
Around 166cm tall. Biggest bust size amongst the students in the school. Long blonde hair and a beautiful face. She is a class representative.
Personality. She was a ‘childhood friend’ of the previous Erlig. She is quiet but seemingly possessive towards Erlig. After Erlig cut ties with her, her presence in his life became non-existent. So far, nothing can be said about her.
Rose Carr. She is 25 years old. Teacher of literature in Birchland High.
She was friends with the previous Erlig.
Around 168cm tall. Has white skin and abundant breasts that could rival Joanne's. Short raven black hair that she combes more on her right side. Red plump lips. She likes to dress boldly. Has a flowery scent.
Personality. She is inquisitive and somewhat easy-going. She dislikes any kind of fighting and doesn’t approve of Erlig’s sudden choice of career.

Mara Sobol. Nineteen years old. Second-year of Birchland High.
Confessed to previous Erlig two times, but was refused both times. Notorious in Birchland High for changing her lovers almost every week. Has rich parents.
Around 182cm tall. Has long and trained legs, wide hips, small chest. Has long natural blonde hair that turns brownish closer to the roots. Usually, they are free and her bangs are combed back and held by a hair clip. Has few piercings on her ears and one on her lip. Her eyes are grey. Has a raspy voice and a barely tangible scent of milk and lemon.
Personality. She acts a lot and has a lot of sudden mood swings. For some reason, she took a deep interest in Erlig as she says that she loves him. Although she approached Erlig upfront, she acts snarky and overly mysterious. She is trained in Taekwondo and is a fairly famous fighter in this sport, though she prefers fights without rules. She doesn't like when something isn’t going according to her plan. Has a group of close friends.

Reid Jones. Eighteen years old. First-year of Birchland High.
Started bullying the previous Erlig because of unknown reasons. A prodigy fighter dubbed as "The supernova".
Around 189cm tall. His anthropometry is almost the same as Erlig’s. He has short, reddish, spiky hair. Brown eyes with small pupils that resemble the bead-like eyes of a white shark.
Personality. Not much is known about his personality aside from the fact that the level of his hate towards the protagonist is abnormal.

Jet Burke. Eighteen years old. First-year of Birchland High.
Best friend of the previous Erlig. Seemingly has some kind of relationship with Elle behind the backs of her friends.
Around 170cm tall. Has a common look. Not too ugly or handsome. Short dirty-blonde hair.
Personality. Cares much for his friendship with Erlig. Witty when he tries his best. Feels ashamed that he can't help the protagonist when he gets bullied. Exceptionally good hacker. He is pained by the split in the group of friends which previously consisted of Joanne, Elle, Erlig, and himself. He helped Erlig by hacking Reid’s email and canceling a few ‘bounty’ orders. He doesn’t have a particular dream nor a goal. As of chapter 53, he is lying in the hospital unconscious after being severely beaten by Reid’s group.

Violetta Fliess. Age? Student's guidance counselor in Birchland high.
She tried to make life hard for the protagonist and was caught once but was released after being threatened. The second time she was blackmailed and raped by the protagonist.
Around 170cm tall. Has white skin. Has an extremely curvaceous figure. Wide hips and thick thighs, her breasts are the largest in the whole school. Has a beautiful face, upturned eyes, and especially full red lips. She wears spectacles that hide dark purple eyes. Her dark hair is shoulder-length and has a purple hue to it. Has a flowery scent with lavender's scent being especially pronounced. Has a beauty mark near her belly button and one near her gluteal fold.
Personality. Not much is known about her personality. She hungers for power as she sleeps her way through the rank in school. She tries to act like she hates Erlig who forced her into a relationship but she saved him when he was one step away from death. She refuses to have a proper conversation with Erlig but answers every one of his sexual approaches.

The story isn't bad and grammer is okay, but it's definitely korean in it's essence. Which means it relies too much on NTR and torture porn to evoke suspense, anger, jealously, and revulsion in the reader to hook him/her. It just leaves you with bad feelings.

MC is from beyond the 4th wall yet even with transmigration tag he's still in the shoes of pathetic MC of a korean manga. You expect something to change, yet it changes nothing aside from "oh I got cucked!! Good thing I never liked her anyways". And I hate this aspect, because at that point reader and the MC are disconnected. Why would anyone want to connect with MC at that point? It can be argued that his situation is quite logical, but in fiction using logic as an argument is self defeating. Was it logical for MC to be obsessed with a game with romance+ntr+harem as one of the main them yet liking none of the girls?

Anyways, this one is very divisive from me. There's nothing wrong with it from objective perspective, but from subjective one it is bad. What the readers feel is equally important because for them story was written, and I feel horrible.

Please don't read it unless you can handle NTR. Author has indicated that things will change for better but god knows how long you'd have to wait for it. The fiction might get dropped midway. So wait for chapters to pile up, or feel bad like me.

      The journey of a wimp.

We are at 140k words, and we still don't know anything substantial about other characters. The story has a very slow pace, and all of it is focused on MC, I will talk about him  and his "development" later in my review. The author used a lot of Chekhov's guns, there are a lot of questions, and few answers, and we are 140k words into the story. Overall, the grammar is okay, and the pace might not be for everyone.

The MC, transmigrated into a game that he used to play, into a talented and physically perfect body for fighting, it is a world that revolves around martial arts, fighting in general. The catch is that the bad ending is getting ntr-ed. So, Erlig, our protagonist, gets transmigrated into a body of a guy that met his bad end, meaning, he got ntr-ed.

So here comes the first problem, after reading the Synopsis and the title, I thought that the game setting and the ntr situation will have some significant role in this story, well, it doesn't.

Erlig, played and read guides about the game, it should mean that he has some knowledge about the main characters of the game (this is mentioned in earlier chapters) which should help him in someway, but then it is said that he did not familiarize enough with the world (a contradiction). Basically, the game setting doesn't have any role in this story, Erlig has no use of his experience of playing this game or reading guides about it. If it is useless, Why should it matter for us readers ? In the end, it is a wasted expectation, = disappointment.  I can not believe that he doesn't know any information from the game that could prove useful...

The same thing with the ntr in the title, Erlig does not care that the past host of the body was ntr-ed, which is a reasonable thing to do, but one would expect it to play a bigger, more significant role in the story. It kind of feels like a clickbait. (or it might be another Chekhov gun...)

I will talk about our protagonist, Erlig.

At the beginning of the story, a introverted, a bit lacking in social skills but overall a decent and likeable character, he found himself stuck into this game that he played, and reacted accordingly to his character traits. He got anxious, depressed and afraid, and all of it made me, like and cheer for the guy.

      Spoiler

It got to the level that he wanted to commit suicide in order to escape from this game world and return home, not the most logical decision but given the mental state he was in, it made sense, and it made me more interested in him as a character, I thought that this was the beginning of his character growth, after all this was his lowest point, but I was wrong. In chapter 20 he becomes a rapist. It comes out of the blue, yeah Violetta is not the best human being, but to choose rape, over other ways he could blackmail her (if he wanted), or just protect himself against her, he chooses rape.
This was the first sign that the likeable protagonist, will get his development but in not the way that I expected, the better word to explain this situation would be degradation. (I guess it is also a form of character growth). The problem is that it was unexpected, it was not something that you will describe Erlig as capable of. Even though he felt regret after the first rape, he is continuing to rape her for months, that's a very BIG "development" and it came out of nowhere. A very big step, from a introverted and shy gamer to a rapist.

About other characters and MCs interaction with them.

First let's start with the so called new parents.

At the beginning he reasonably sees them as strangers but acts as their son in order to not garner suspicion (A logical decision). Then he kind of wants to accept them as his new parents (not an act), then he again sees them as strangers, followed by trying again to accept them as his new family. A very confusing development. A 20* years old dude, that had a life accepts strangers as new family, even though they are kind of useless and not supportive. But yeah, with his mental state it might make sense.

Now with his so called friends. It is very important to mention that he repeats a few times that he does not care about anyone, he sees them as strangers or even worse. A reasonable decision, given their background. He knows that these people can not be considered friends (I will explain why). Yet, his actions contradicts his thoughts.

First we got Jet. I will quote from the story,
"In most scenarios Jet was the most trusted friend of the MC along with two girls. He will support and advise you in most of the school events. And even in the worst-case scenarios, he would still be of some help.

Written as the cheerful, pervy, and a bit lethargic character, he was in the game to make the protagonist more notable. Still, he quickly came to be hated by most of the players as he could cuck the protagonist" I think that he also came to be hated by most readers, along with the 2 girls. Two reasons why I dislike this character, other than MC accepting this guy as a friend.

      1. The dude is a Hacker, someone that could gain access to information and use it. Yet, he does not really use his abilities to help his friend. I don't really want to explain how someone with his abilities could destroy anyone reputation in the internet age. He could, if not destroy, at least trash enough the reputation of their COMMON bully and his family so that he would be expelled. The guy is really useless, and did not even help or support his friend when Erlig was in need. Also it is hinted that he did some sh*tty stuff behind his back.

      2. We can deduce, from the conversation with the MC, that Jet is a rapist, he forced (Elle?*) a girl into a relationship by blackmailing her. We return to his description from the story, he cucked the previous Elrig, his best friend. Enough reason to dislike the guy.

2.1. He also *probably* had s*x with Elle, while she was talking on the phone with Elrig. CH-15. If this is true, again we can only deduce from the hints, that is some next level disrespect from one that calls himself a friend.  Overall a character that only drags MC down.

One of the best and most satisfying decision Elrig made (that kind of got crushed in ch-53), was to get rid of the two girls from his life. Elle, a person that did not help and support the MC when he was in need. And I will repeat, CH15- She was f**king someone while talking with MC on the phone. (a presumption) Joanne, the same reason as other two, not helping and supporting when in need, also she f**ked their common bully and ntr-ed  the past Elrig.

Mara, I will try to be short, damn I wrote a lot...

The girl has some screw loses in her head, I could call her a yandere, but no respectable yandere will stay by, and do nothing, while her obsession is constantly being bullied to the level that he got in hospital. From everything I have read so far, I can make the conclusion that she sees MC as a trophy, as a toy to be played with and throw away. Her interest is based on the fact that he refused her advances twice, so her pride got hurt.

The description from the story quote, "Yeah, she is kind of hunting, the guys that caught her eye end up as her boyfriends in a matter of a week, and then she throws them away"Even MC, realizes that she is up to no good, that how she sees him, is a mere object, a toy. Quote, " It was almost written on her face, how she felt that I was her possession and someone messed with it"

After everything that these so called friends represent, Elrig still, in the latest chapter, for some reason wants to associate with these people. 140k words, and the protagonist still makes the decision based on his emotions (and he feels emotional for them), you would think that he learned from the previous lessons but no. Why he cares about these 3, I can't understand.

To essentially sell yourself to Mara for revenge, when you have some kind of protection against that CARICATURE of a bully. Elrig is protected because he is in "Brave and Bold" team, yet he still chose to be a slave anyway, when his dream is to be free. Like wtf? And one more reason to dislike Mara, damn stalker, always using MC, and putting him in debt to her, just to entertain herself.

There are other characters, but I'm kind of apathetic towards them, and this review is already too long.

      [collapse]

I come to the end of this long ass review, you can clearly deduce that for some reason this story interests me, despite not having one likeable character, despite MC becoming a scumbag and a drama queen, despite the many unanswered questions and inconsistencies. I'm still interested in the journey of the wimp. I saw hope in chapter 30 (then it got crushed), and maybe he will come to grow some balls, take responsibility and redeem himself.

Well, give it a try =)

      Good luck!

      Kinda sh*t.

Grammar and writing if fine but the MC basically does nothing the entire time and only runs away from his problems and generally acts like an asshole.

But hey don't let me tell you what to read, so go and read it, and see whether you like it or not.

This is only a 6 chapter review.. so things can change.... and getting better!

1 Writing quality is good. 2 So far one daily chapter. 3 Daring story concept. 4 MC has a brain and is relatable.

Personal thoughts: I hate NTR but I believe the author is using it as a story hook [I hope anyway] to bring a Transmigration into a sticky world that will entertain rather than depress. Honestly if the story ends up rubbing NTR in the MCs face I will bail, but I belive it will just be a story prop.. lets wait and see!

OK, take this one with a grain of salt.

First, like most I read past reviews and the premise seemed interesting. And they were right.

This isn't an edge lord that tried to avenge the wrongs of the body he inhabits. It dealt with a semi realistic approach to somebody being to a different world, mentioning how he is not OK with this,

      Spoiler

he is depressed and he tries to commit suicide in this new reality

      [collapse]
. Later, with a possible friend helping him he sets to improve himself and even right some stuff.... and that's it.

As a slice of life, this will be slow from most people who aren't in the mindset for this, so you should prepare. From the main character mouth he mentions how aimless and goalless he is to this point (chap 37 or 40 depending how you count it) and he will be right, he does not have a goal to return to his world, he does not care about the girl (s) that the person he became likes so he cut them off, he doesn't try to get revenge mostly he wants to be left alone and have the strength to not be pushed around, and there is not a clear set for getting friends or a SO in this new reality (mostly just going with the flow of the other characters)... And I think there is a point where the premise only take you so far till you are not longer interested.

      Pros:

Grammar is OK, not big plot holes so the story is OK, character development some downs and ups but the only one we really get to know is the main character (slice of life so understandable).

      Cons:

The premise from the Ntr character and the revenge tags hook plenty readers, and the author doesn't really develop this aspect, nor the game transmigration part, so if this novel lost the title it would reflect better in the storyline.

Frankly, this could be an acceptable seinen story of a transmigrated guy struggling with his new reality in a slice of life setting. Just don't expect the revenge or game knowledge aspects to be relevant or you'll be bored.

Edit: so I'm trying to give this four stars but for some reason it's not displaying that, instead reverting to no-stars which I think is a non-score since I'm not showing up on the chart for star distribution anyway.

So I'm a proud pitchfork carrying member of the anti-NTR brigade. But I'm alright with this story so far. MC transmigrates into the body of an NTR'd dude and doesn't really care about the two girls who liked his old meatsuit but apparently are sleeping with other guys.

That said, MC may well not be to your taste. I'm alright with it since the dude is having a realistic reaction to being yanked away from his whole damn world. But he's not your typical "strong" protagonist at this point and that may bother some people.

The one bit of R-18 scene we've got so far was pretty hot (to be clear, its not an NTR scene, we're aware that sh*t is going on but it's not really explored in any detail). If anything it was pretty fun as he blackmails someone who has helped make his life sh*t.

All in all, I'd say it's an unusual series with potential that will turn some people off. I'm enjoying it so far and think it's worth your time to try.

This is the first time I'm ever writing a review for anything so I'm gonna keep it short and I'm sorry if Im not able to form my words properly

This novel is a rare gem. Ive been actively searching this type of stories where the MC has been done wrong and in most of the novels I see, the MC turns into an edge lord and go on about their revenge. This is a rare one because instead of being like that, the MC goes and be a better version of himself. I really love it.

Now for the real reason I'm writing this review. I just want to tell the author that I really love this novel. You're writing is great and I hope that you won't abandon this story.  I've seen a lot of novels hear with a lot of potential but ended up being abandoned by their authors.

      Keep it up! ^V^

This novel so far is good, I'm not really a good critic but all I can tell is that I'm enjoying reading it, it's 5☆ because I'm here to enjoy reading a novel and not to judge a person's hardwork on it. That's why let's just enjoy reading and not be a crab. I'M RECOMMENDING THIS ONE, ESPECIALLY FOR A PERSON WITH NETORARE/NETORI FETISH LIKE ME

I would say a story like this are rare, so rare. I mean, have you seen a story where the MC get NTRed and instead of getting depressed and stuff, he instead tries to change himself and become a better person?  I'm pretty sure, there's not many stories like this out there, and even if there's any I'm sure it's not always updated or it just gets dropped halfway.

Writing Quality: It's good enough, for someone who's not Native-English speaker.

Characters: I can't really say much for other characters because until the latest chapter we only see the story from MC's POV, so we don't know how the others really are, I feel like there's more than what we see. Also, the MC right now quite relatable and not really unreasonable.

Story: For now, I didn't have much opinion on the story, I can only say for now I'm really satisfied, but who know what the story become at the future chapters, I just hope it's not going downhill.
