Valmorr was weak.
And in a realm like Asgard — especially in the looming shadow of war — weakness was a sin far worse than any crime.
Valmorr could not accept his frailty.
His eyes turned toward forbidden knowledge.
Deep within the hidden archives of Asgard, sealed away from mortal and god alike, he discovered a long-forgotten tome.
Within its pages lay the ritual to summon an ancient being: Nightmare.
Despite the warnings, despite his own fears, Valmorr performed the summoning.
And the walls of Asgard’s palace crumbled.
The sky itself cracked open.
The screams of the innocent were swallowed by the cursed echoes of dark magic.
Soon, the royal vaults collapsed into ruin, and Valmorr stood alone—helpless—before a darkness he could not hope to command.
Overwhelmed, he fell into unconsciousness.
The price for his mistake was grave.
Odin’s justice was swift and merciless.
Valmorr was banished from Asgard for all eternity.
His name was erased from the royal lineage.
Valmorr Odinson was no more.
Only V remained.

About This Story
This story takes place within the Marvel Universe, and the main character is a native of that world.
When designing the protagonist, I drew heavy inspiration from V in the Devil May Cry video game series.
As such, his appearance will mirror that of V, though his powers and summons will have distinct differences — fitting the Marvel Universe’s style and lore.
You don’t need any prior knowledge of Marvel or Devil May Cry to enjoy this story.
This narrative will explore original paths, different from the traditional MCU timeline.
Additionally, this is my third Marvel fanfiction project.
I abandoned the first two because they didn’t meet my expectations.
However, I am determined to carry this one forward with all my creativity and passion.
