Waking up to the fact that you’re a one-armed, one-eyed orphan?
You get used to it.
Being sent to some museum with a bunch of brats because some heartless corporation wants pictures to convince middle-aged women that they truly care deep down inside?
Pretty lame, but that’s Tuesday for ya.
Seeing the sky tear open and the invasion alarms go off?
Pretty awful.
Getting superpowers from some all-knowing and terribly unhelpful aliens?
Not as awesome as you might think.
A cyberpunk magical-girl-ish alien invasion LitRPG. It’s exactly as wild as it sounds.
A truly enjoyable story. Action, comedy, fluff, snarky AI companions, it's got all you could ask for in a story like this. My only minor complaint is that everything has been moving so fast as far as time passes in the story, but this issue is so minor and overshadowed by all the positives that I can't be too bothered.

Dystopian cyberpunk alienkiller, and it's so entertaining. Ofcourse it's a lot more than those 3 words, and the novel is really good at creating an environmental narative. The MC is entertaining, her vieuw of the world is realistic and her interactions with others are almost alwasy entertaining or fluffy/romantic. I enjoy reading this novel.

I've probably read about 100 decent length novels on SC so far, and this is definitely near the top for me. I love the premise, the story and the characters. I just caught up, and I am sad about it, but at least it seems like the author is a write-a-holic. (Please don't burn out :D)

I found Magical Girl Gunslinger by Mikasane, on RR, first. It referenced this one and, since I loved the mechanics, I looked this up.
SCS has become one of my favorite stories on both sites. I love the characters, the setting, the antagonists, the aliens, the fictional epigraphs, etc. I love the romance between Cat and Lucy. I love the kittens/orphans and that Cat and Lucy have adopted them.
I love Ravensdagger's writing and have started following several other stories of his, however, he writes way too much for me to keep up with them all.
I even like the song, Stray Cat Strut, by the Stray Cats, which I sort of assume was part of the inspiration for the character and title (though I don't really know, but I found it due to the story, so whatever).

A fantastic series, that only continues to get better as it releases. I could not recommend this more! I love the way RavensDagger manages to build the world through epigraphs and in the story proper. It’s fantastic, and I look forward to reading even more!

Do you like the Synopsis? Or do you the Authors previous works? Do you like action, aliens, and guns? If yes to anyone of those give it tryyyyy! (... this more joke towards myself who delayed reading this story for actual year for no reason, even though I really wanted to read it).
But it is a really good story. Amazing characters, good plot, and fansastic world building.
