Synopsis
Ravencrest Manor is the story of Ellis Vale, a young man who's very confused about who he is as a person. He's so confused that he doesn't even know he's confused about who he is. He just wants to stay beneath everybody's radar and maybe spend time with his best friend Connor... who might also be his crush. It's so confusing. When Connor gets roped into spending the night in a dangerous mansion, Ellis tags along to make sure nothing bad happens. He didn't consider that Ravencrest Manor might be sitting on top of a great, reality-bending magical engine or that the house might be infested with angry, trapped demons. But he'll find that out soon enough.

I loved this quick dive into the life of Ellis as it is thrown out of whack by a malevolent manor. The OvidLemma style that I enjoy is there for me to enjoy, though it feels a bit light on the world building I they usually allow me to sink my teeth into, I didn't find myself for a fun and engaging story.
