A 35-year-old man who wasted his life chasing ambitions that never came true and betraying countless expectations worked a mediocre job manning a café.

One day, on the way home, he came across a girl trying to end her life by jumping off a bridge. Before he could think, he was already diving after her. By some miracle, both of them survived, though he wasn’t long for the world.

When the man closed his eyes for the last time, he did so satisfied at managing to do something worthwhile with his life.

But then he woke up.

Reincarnated in a fantasy world as Isaac Frostblade, he sets out upon his new life with a single goal: “This time, I’ll make sure my life is something to be proud of!”

Thus begins the story of a man determined to make up for his past mistakes.

So I recently saw the PV for the Mushoku Tensei (Jobless Reincarnation) anime. Seeing it made me remember the good times I had binging it back in the day… And then I couldn’t get the idea of trying out a story like that for myself out of my head. Orz

This is just a drabble for now until I finish up No One’s Story. Updates will be short and sporadic at best, if at all. I'll try to post something every week though at least.
