A story of vampires, witchcraft, and unexpected transformations! 21 year-old medical imaging tech Verne Vera was determined to beat his NVC before the neurovascular disease beat him. When Verne learned about an expensive anti-aging treatment called Juvechrome that just might do the trick, he knew it was his only shot at a cure. But Juvechrome was absurdly expensive - Verne couldn't afford the stuff, so he stole it. Surely, stealing an experimental drug from a shadowy tech corporation and administering it to himself couldn't lead to unforeseen consequences! Alas, I think you can probably guess what those consequences were.

The story was super good... until the r*pe scene.... then author proceded to check all the boxes to make sure I'd leave this story disgusted and with a foul taste in my mouth...

Make a lesbian girl like being r*ped by a guy because 'she can't control her body'? Check!

Write the scene like an '""""arousing'"""" smut scene? Check.

Make the r*ped girl talk about it like it's nothing and even casually talk with the r*pist the morning after? Check and double check.

I hate that I liked this story at some point, I should have seen it coming though.

I wanted badly to enjoy this story; it was trans vampire lesbians, I love trans vampire lesbians. But the characters are cardboard cutouts who just happen to exist and make stupid choices that make no sense in order to further the plot. That was enough for me to give it 2-3 stars, and then I heard about the s*xual assault scene and I just couldn't justify forcing myself to continue reading this.

A great story! Be warned that some of it is a bit depressing because of realism. Definitely a good read if you’re not afraid of a little tragedy.

I was promised a completed story, but it is not done. Kinda dark take on the whole vampire genre, which is welcome. It definitely has its flaws, but I still found myself looking forward to the next chapter. Where is the sequel?
