The story is imaginative, well thought out, and consistent. The characters have some depth and flaws, which makes them more believable. The MC is strong but doesn't feel overpowered and isn't omniscient. The world building and factions have layers and intricacies. There are many aspects that relate to the real world, but not in a way that feels like it's part of the political debate or pushing a view.

I actually completely skipped the s*x scenes, which are plentiful, although that may seem odd considering the things I write.

On the negative side, even though there are remarkably few spelling errors the story is full of language errors, with wrong word choices, wrongly phrased expressions, and grammatical errors. I would recommend for the author to use a tool such as Grammarly or find an editor who is a native speaker. This is the reason why I gave 3 stars instead of 4. Other than this issue it's a good story.

If I have to praise one thing, it is the use of flowers to describe s*xual orientation. I loved that. Rest of the story... just not for me. The start of the tale is confusing to say the least. It begins with our hero's demise and rebirth, as is standard with any isekei type of story. However, it takes a turn that makes it seem like it would be heading in a smuttier direction, only to back track later on. Eventually it planes out and becomes stable. Then new problems appear. The characters are just so incredibly infuriating with how stupid they are. Not as in they lack intelligence, but as in how shallow they appear. However, I must give the author some benefit of the doubt. They are from Malaysia which has a completely different culture from my own here in the USA. Because of that, these characters might make perfect sense to someone from over there. Overall though, it was frustrating to read. Only other complaint I have is the usage of some rather archaic English words for "masturbation", "indescribable", "muscles" and so forth. Again, I'm not sure if these words are more common over in the author's home nation amongst those who do know English or if it is something they saw and thought would make their story sound/read better. In the end, they were off-putting.

The third act of the second volume is a good example of deus ex machina and information given at the wrong time.

      Spoiler

Throughout the story the character of Aedan has been used to fix minor inconveniences for the author. Good equipment, fixing issues with the Lust-Skill are coming to mind. To the third act, where we get several chapters of "they fight", he is like wrecking ball. It is even made clear in the text, that there is no danger anymore as soon as he shows up.

And then there is the Lust-Skill. For which details are given way earlier than the god-given explanation at the end of the second volume. Which leaves the reader unknowing, what kind of story they are reading for far too long.

And while im at it I might as well mention how confusing the gender-bender is set up. There seems to be no purpose for it. The entire thing would have worked with a female swordswoman, lonely because her male peers are just uncivilized. She is then given the Lust-Skill, and with it s*xual attraction to both genders. Now there is no missing subtext on wether or not she is happy being a woman or not.

I loved your story, your battle scenes are amazing with good characters. Unfortunately I don't really like the protagonist but it's more of a personal opinion than a defect. The only thing I don't like is lust because I much prefer pride as a sin.

By the way, I still don't take back what I said about it being short and flat from my last review.

Oof, just checked the reviews and it's sadly similar to the comment section on the chapters. Tons of people unnecessarily upset when the MC makes decisions out of confusion.

A former sword saint being gender bent struggles at first to accept their new reality as a bishoujo fox girl. I don't think enough people consider that to be what it actually is, it's a traumatic event. Trauma affects people at varying degrees and makes people do questionable things.

Although the lust skill sounds like it'd overwrite all other functions, it really doesn't. It's basically an extreme aphrodisiac that removes a large amount of inhibitions like a spiked drink, and Erin's bi-curious interest are rather the same as someone having the urge to use a doorknob to get off, it's not that they're attracted to the object so much as wanting anything to scratch that itch. So when Erin is constantly stating her aversion to males in general and even physically recoils at the thought, it's not that they're lying to themself it's as simple as that.

Erin's first life was solitary mostly from social anxiety masked as stoicism and that takes time to unlearn, a skill that forced her to take the jump only really kick-started her true personality, that of a very lustful being that just wants to be like everyone else. Lust and love was forsaken on her path to sword saint because it was a distraction from her obsession, but after reaching the peak and being killed so easily she has found a new path. Her first life actually thought love at first sight was the only exception if it were to ever happen. Now she's decided to redefine herself and follow a path that's more desire driven rather than focused passion. Where it was a passion for the sword, it's now a desire for satiation. Whether that be lustful, love, fulfillment, or whatever; the point is that Erin is free to make their choices without the arbitrary self-judgement of an incel secretly upset they aren't the one having all the fun. Where before she 'despised' the more lascivious people, she now understands it was stemming from envy instead of a moral code.

Now, she obviously still has to mature a bit when it comes to matters of interpersonal relationships. She's selfish and greedy, wanting to sleep with whoever when she feels like it but is frustrated at the mere thought it could also be done by her partner. She still feels guilty at caving to her desires, but it's clear she doesn't put much willpower into resisting it. It's pretty clear the solution here is polyamory, what with her partner's express permission for Erin to keep doing so as long as they stay a couple. It's almost always the answer I give, but a poly would keep everyone happy with the most minimal compromise, that being they must share with the other members. The 'minimal' part comes from the fact that they could also partake and enrich the relationship as a whole by creating more points of bonding in this web of love.

There's a lot of reviews with seemingly even more people in agreement that the world itself or the premise is great but is dragged down by the MC. I think the MC is fine, so long as you view her as what she is. Genderbending without someone's input or desire to do so can be highly traumatic, being 'forced' to confront your s*xual desires in that new body even more so. She barely copes with it since she finally lost her virginity to a woman, even if not the way she'd always wished to, but that only veils the fact that some higher being just played a life changing prank on her for their amusement and she now needs to live with it. I saw quite a few homophobia comments, whether they were the one or were just accusing the mc/author. It's honestly a little inconsiderate to force your own theory on characters just to justify your 'ships' and/or be offended when you were wrong/correct.

I've ranted quite a bit in the chapter comments, but mostly about character flaws and their disregard and not about the author's decisions. I think there were only a few truly questionable points, but that's mostly about worldbuilding and philosophy of characters rather than any critique on the author themself as a person.

Series is a fun read with intermittent smut. Would love more of both the story and 'plot' either way. If you're truly upset about some aspect of the story, I think you need to introspect a little more before posting it online as a review. You could be entirely wrong about your extrapolation and making a mount of a mole hill.

      Currently read up to date.

      The goods and oks

MC is pretty good, not super op like its overlord etc, the way they interact with the world is also pretty good and gets quite interesting some times, minus the cliché of being a perfect 10/10 and everyone wants to go smash.

The general plotline so far pretty decent and is working well once you get off the starting platform.

I enjoy many of the characters minus two who I wont name, but I'm sure if you give this a good read you will probably feel the same.

The the litrpg system feels a bit complex which is nice and is actively used in the story and isn't something that's just a stat dump and forgotten about.

      Now the unfortunate

There are SOOO many spelling and wording errors that thankfully I skip over first pass but whenever I question something and read it back it always catches me off guard to realise I was making up my own words to fill in the sometimes bad spelling/wording.

      Spoiler

As a few have commented the lust skill is quite a handful to have to read with at the beginning, however as time has gone on the author has tuned it to be more of actual thing rather than to use it purely for r18 scenes. Which is unfortunate as this will likely be the cause of most people deciding to drop the story.

      [collapse]

Overall I give it a 4/5 and I look forward to the coming chapters, hopefully the author sorts some of the glaring issues out and is able to complete this as I find it to be quite enjoyable.

PS no loli stuff here >which is surprisingly rare to find a novel so far along without it.

I liked the starting to this novel but I didn't like the direction it took or most of the characters in it, so I really enjoy litrpg's but this one really let me down, Erin put very little thought into what she was doing with her skill and stat points, after Erin gained her first stat/skill point through effort she should have started banking her points and training her stats and skills regularly, it's obviously easier to gain points when your stats/skills are lower so increasing them will make them harder to train up, she never did try this at all.

Erin's personality doesn't really make sense to me, she is supposed to not care what people think about her but her main goal is to get her sword saint title back, the only use of a title is recognition, the lust deviant skill was annoying, it's whole purpose felt like it was their to put Erin into awkward/uncomfortable situations to push her into more s*xual acts and eventually accept men, it felt too forceful and unneeded, Erin was a 40 year old virgin she didn't really need anything to encourage her to have s*x it was literally her dying wish.

One of my main problems are the love interests, Lyra's character was a bad idea for a harm and annoying to read, she is way too clingily and possessive with some stalker/yandere vibes, she is way too protective of Erin anytime any body shows any interest at all, most of the time it is almost smothering.

I don't know if Nivia is one of the love interests but considering it is a harem and her stalkerish character already I will assume so, she has almost the same problem as Lyra but is a lot better, she has a obsession problem which seems rather bad considering she was known for it from her village, I don't know how bad or not her character is because she has yet to get intimate with Erin.

I am really confused why Erin starts having feelings for him, I can only assume it is because of the two times he held her out when she was having a lust attack, while he did act nice during those two times it only really stands out when you compare it to the other guys in the series that stare at her all the time, he acts like a d*ck most of the time, somehow his dismissive and d*ckish attitude and him not staring/getting flustered by her beauty  make Erin start to like him.

      The story is fine...

But the MC is really an airhead that doesn't fit a sword. It's like he was a virgin master the whole last life.

Though, it is still an enjoyable and good read.

So far I read till the latest chap.

The story so far has been a decent to semi decent ride with some issues.

The beginning was easily the worst part of the story but the only real issues is just some of the side characters are nigh unbearable though after that it does slowly get better.

I do notice some people seem to hate how the MC acts but imo it's completely reasonable and only helps with liking her as a person considering her struggles.

Overall, story is decent if you can get past the rocky beginning. Would recommend considering a decent fMC story is like finding a needle in a haystack and if you don't mind the smut...
