[#R-18][CHECK THE TAGS BEFORE READING][#SLOWBURN AT START]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Eli Navarro was never meant to be noticed.
He’s a street-forged survivor with no paper trail, no psychic imprint, and a power no one can classify.
When the X-Men bring him in, the telepaths go blind and the scans return static.
The world shifts—and not quietly.
He’s not a mutant. Not a weapon. Not anything they’ve seen before.
But he’s starting to remember what he is.
And when gods, monsters, and empires come looking, Eli doesn’t break.
He rises.
Mythic combat. Raw power. And one man built to shatter destiny.
Tags will evolve with the arcs. Slow Burn at start. Expect power escalation,
mythic combat, and deep emotional connections beneath the chaos.
This is a long-form, character-driven saga. It starts small — it does not stay small. I hope you'll stick with it.
Disclaimer: I own nothing.
I read the first 17 chapters and it totally failed to grab my attention. The force of nature style protagonist doesn't get along with me, apparently. The wealth of intentionally unlikable characters means that if you don't like the characters who were meant to be likable, you're out of luck.
It's written well even if the formatting hurts it. The lack of new line spacing both sucks aesthetically and for comprehension. Even if it is a highly monotonous task, I hope the author will update the formatting.
I don't want to undermine the story with a negative review, but I think it will take some serious work to make the story something I'd continue to read.
Best of luck in your future work.
