Mysterious death and failed vengeance marked Lloyd Ferrum's first life in Riverio. Reborn on Earth, he earned a Nobel in Military Engineering, dying peacefully at 80. Now, he’s back as his 19-year-old self in Riverio, years before his family's annihilation. Married to a cold, talented prodigy while he himself is seen as below average, Lloyd gains the 'Shopping Tree' system. He begins buying incredible, anime-like powers, determined to create his own legendary fantasy.
So after 130ish chapters the story has intrigue and conflict pertaining to past life experiences and political maneuvering so it's interesting there.
Now for the bad you may as well call this series Soap King because there's about 90 chapters talking about creating a soap empire. There is barely interaction with the "cold" wife with her slightly inter-monololog. The anime shopping tree isn't even a shopping thing at all, using system currency he upgraded his companion. He also crafted a skill after completing a system quest, but all in all he's bought nothing.

This is entertaining story about failure of duke son trying to survive a hostile world against him. Other nobles, his own family and monster want him to fail and fall.
With a title that contains anime shopping tree I thought different anime powers were going to appear in this story. They don't. Other then that I have no complaints.

Wrote this on RR, but just wanna leave this here:
This story's honestly way more fun than I expected. The whole "Shopping Tree" thing where the guy buys anime powers is kinda ridiculous, but in a good way. Makes the power progression feel playful instead of the usual grind. Lloyd's past lives stuff adds some weight too, especially with him trying to stop his family from dying.
His wife's a cold genius type and their dynamic is weird but interesting. Not romantic really (yet?) but it works and keeps me curious, wish she was included more. She adds a lot of tension and potential.
Some of the early chapters were confusing though. The flashbacks and time jumps made me reread parts because I didn't know what was going on at first. It settles after a bit but yeah, heads up. Maybe a clearer chapter break or timeline hint would help.
The world itself is shaping up nicely too. There are hints of bigger conflicts and mysteries beyond just Lloyd's personal story, which makes me want to see how everything connects.
If you're into isekai with a twist, anime-style powers, and a main character trying to outsmart fate, this is definitely worth checking out. To the author: you've got something cool here, so keep going. I'm sticking with it.
Update:
Dont like the current direction, seems forced.
