He transmigrated into the body of a Japanese high school student, "enjoying" his new and interesting life.
Then, one day, Kazuki wakes up, bound and gagged, to the sight of Riko, his stepmother, sharpening a kitchen knife while wearing nothing but an apron.
"Kazuki-kun, why are you struggling? This way, we can be together forever."
As the phantom pain of a kitchen knife piercing his waist lingered, a pop-up window appeared before Uesugi Kazuki's eyes.

Thus began a strange journey. Our hero, donning a shopping bag as a masked disguise, finds himself helping his neighbor repair her computer. Even so, her twin daughters seem to prefer wearing spandex superhero suits and beating people up.
He aided a classmate through a difficult family issue by gunning down men and blowing up a cult compound. The classmate, in turn, challenged him to a virtuous UFC battle.
While leaving his part-time job, goons sent by the school kendo captain wanted to have green tea with him.
The journey of this great hero, who saves damsels in distress, beats drug peddlers, and seems fond of bubble tea, is paved by blood, sweat, and something moist.

Meh 😕 Not terrible, but definitely not among the better ones out there.
The beginning's pretty shaky—feels like the author tried way too hard with the fan service, to the point it got borderline gross. Thankfully, around chapter 20, that calmed down a bit. I've read up to chapter 46 so far, so I can't speak beyond that, but it does seem like the author's learned from earlier missteps.
The plot? Honestly, I'm not sure where it's going. The scale of the story has expanded way past what I think the author can handle right now. It'd need either a solid editor or this being a hidden alt of a more experienced writer to really stick the landing.
It's not bad though. If you're into twisted takes on society and don't mind a bit of messiness, there's something here to enjoy. Just don't expect a masterpiece.
One thing that worries me is the author's pacing. There's no real schedule, and he's dropping 2–4 chapters a day. According to a poll he posted, most people voted for "post at your own pace, " but it sounds like he's writing and editing everything on the fly without any backlog. That's burnout bait, and I doubt the serialization will last long if that keeps up.
Hope I'm wrong—but we'll see.
