IJN Fuji was built in 1946 as an advanced aircraft carrier for the Imperial Navy.
Her angled flight deck allows her to land aircraft without the need to clear the flight deck.
She never saw action in the war. She was never officially reactivated as a warship but unofficially she remained in reserve, fully armed and ready.
To have more aircraft the developers had to sacrifice firepower and AA capabilities.

Delight class battlecruiser - Delight was built in 1949 as a prototype battlecruiser. She is a result of reflexion on the WWII battleship and battlecruiser performance. Originally she was supposed to be a prototype for a more advanced battlecruisers - Kingdom class with 18 inch guns. Due to the post-war economical situation the Kingdom class was cancelled and all resources were put into Delight.
She served as the Home Fleet flagship in 1950-1960. After the large decommisioning in 1960s Delight was supposed to be scrapped but considering her relatively small wearout she was mothballed.
Reactivated in 1986 and modernized. Participated in the Gulf War alongside Wisconsin and Missouri. After the Gulf War served until 1995 when she was finally decommissioned and stricken. Because of active public support was turned into museum ship.
Delight is known for her break downs. Her constant problems are: boilers which can't keep the ship steaming at 34 knots longer than 2 hours and her electro-hydraulic turret rotation systems which are known to shortcut.

IJN Kuronami was built 1944 as a prototype destroyer leader to replace the weakened light cruiser force of the Imperial navy. Kuronami class consisted of two ships: IJN Kuronami, and her unnamed sister which was scrapped to provide additional metal for Kuronami's construction.
She was finished in 1945 and immediately was used to escort the convoys that connected Japanese mainland with the resisting forces in the Pacific.
Kuronami scored 6 aircraft shot down, and 2 submarine attacks stopped.
Her last operation was escorting a convoy to one of the islands. Kuronami set sail on July 28. Rendezvous with the convoy happened on July 29. The last radio contact with the convoy and Kuronami was on August 1. The convoy never arrived to its destination.
The US Navy reports from this time period confirmed that there were aircraft operations in the area, as well as heavy cruiser USS Salt Lake City. There were no reports of a contact with Japanese convoy, or sinking of a destroyer.
IJN Kuronami's wreck was never found.

Hmm I'm just in early chapter but how to say it...
The premise and the plot got me intrigued, especially our fluffy shipgirl MC.
But, I feel the writing style kinda not for me, also for a paranoid person, MC just too inconsistent.
Read it first though, this story managed to get into trending so probably many people like this, except me.

Awesome novel, wonder why more people don't read this.

The MC is completely separate from the entire world. It’s not interesting. There is a surface reason for her to do anything but it’s just that: SURFACE reason. It doesn’t really hold up in the long run.
