Synopsis

Qube is an NPC in an AI-driven VR-RPG who avoids her scripted death and blithely continues following the Player, trying to make sense of the normalised nonsense of Fantasy RPGs and accidentally glitching out the world in stranger and stranger ways as she seeks to be the very best Childhood Companion ever.

It’s a loving parody of old school RPGs, high fantasy, and every gamer who has ever thought “what happens if I do this...”

I recommend giving this a try!

It has an interesting premise and it's well written! It follows the "hero's childhood friend/guide" role inside a game and her point of view as the "hero" enters the game.

It has its funny moments when she reacts to how the "hero" is exploring the game as a normal player would (getting supplies in the woods, interacting with the NPC's, doing quest and getting rewards). However, it also has its cute moments with the interactions between characters which make it wholesome. There are tiny mysteries too that are intriguing.

I'm someone who likes romance but the interactions were so enjoyable that romance isn't needed. (I still ship tho, a girl can dream)

There is character development, mainly noticeable in the MC and "hero" as they explore the game and other characters including each other which makes them more realistic and relatable.

You don't have to be a gamer to understand what's happening (I'm not a gamer and I didn't have much trouble understanding whats happening".

      Anyways, GIVE IT A TRY!

And don't forget to support my ship ;)
