In a land ruled by vile monsters, where death is common and life is cruel, one outcast endeavors to have it all. While there are many misconceptions related to goblins, such as their horrid looks or lack of intelligence, their small stature isn't one. But, that doesn't stop Stryg from aspiring to his belief of greatness: power, prestige, and food with salt.
When fate drags Stryg from his forest home and into the ruthless city of Hollow Shade he must learn that some monsters live everywhere.

I don't usually write reviews and I think this is actually the first one on this website. I first would like to talk about the tags since some people find them unfair or they think that just because they want a certain story everything else is bad. That is what kids think and do. This story isn't bad it is fantastic:
Grammar is impeccable and sentences are well phrased.
The main characters are full of personality, even side characters show actual real feelings and they are well fleshed out unlike in many other stories where they are just passing by without giving actual value to the story. I love looking at the interactions between the different characters even when the MC isn't the center of attention. The author also does a wonderful job in changing prospective to show us how the world is viewed by others that aren't the MC.
The story is amazing, the character growth that the MC has gone through has been realistic and very fun to follow.
In conclusion the author has done a terrific job in writing this original story. The tags are well placed and I suggest everyone that likes character growth and ruthless MC should read this novel. Even people that don't really like this genre should give it a try.
Thank you author for the extraordinary adventure you are taking us on. Keep up the good work!

i'll be simple. This is one of the best (if not the best) harem-fantasy story on scribble hub.
the characters and the world are well-realized, they grow and change throughout time.
it is a harem and the MC is ruthless, but this doesn't mean that every woman is always fawning over the MC or that the MC is a sociopath. The women have their own motivations and the MC is ruthless 'cos of his life circumstances. When those circumstances change THE WAY in which the he is ruthless changes but he is still merciless.
the author is not a piece of sh*t abt lgbt issues, for some ppl this is unforgivable. (This is not a boys' love or bis*xual story though.)
this is not a power fantasy either.

Giving an honest opinion as someone who's tried to read enough to make a solid review.
Too Long, Didn't Read: It's pretty good, not going to lie. You just gotta keep reading to get your gratification.
Plot:
Yes, it does have a similar play out of the Hero’s story, but also a similar play out of a Tragedy. It's a nice mix leaning towards the Hero’s story agenda. I would try to explain it more but I might have to put spoilers and that isn't really good to have in a review in my opinion.
World Building:
Yep, it is definitely a world. Seriously though, you can tell there was immense thought put into the background setting so that it flows well with the plot and there isn't a huge change in the scenery too often. Would like to see more of the other realms in the future in some fashion. Gradually the world reveals its intricacies in a satisfying way. Another note: the World works well with the other parts of the story and doesn't feel out of place.
Characters/Character Dev:
My least favorite part of the novel, but I'm glad that the characters aren't perfect. Just wish they didn't have so many holes. I'm referring to certain actions or misinterpretations that are quite obviously the opposite of what is within the scope of the character. For example (This is NOT a spoiler) : "Hey I'm from Dumbo town, I'm dumb!" "Yeah? What's 9+10?" "19. Oh and I know everything about you, you know. Your emotions, decisions, and what caused you to ask me that question." Now that's an exaggeration, but there are a few too many characters with 10 million secrets in my opinion. Granted some are understandable, but most are uncalled for. A great thing about character development is one for the MC; he actually changes somewhat. More rare than you would think, but man some characters barely have substance when I feel like they should have more. Author please answer my wishes🙏. I will say that as a reader I appreciate that there has been some emotional and actual intellectual development for the characters. Very rare and almost non-existent for the latter.
Grammar:
Reads fine, no gripes here. 1 or 2 mistakes over 2000 pages is fine, don't you think? Just knock on wood ya know.
Overall: I'm satisfied with what I've read so far. A little disappointed I can't exactly give a better review after 400 chapters because I'm already satisfied. Don't stop reading (writing for you Author), because I won't.

One of the better stories I read on this site. The characters are diverse and don't feel like stereotypes and I quite like the protagonist, it can be pretty dramatic sometimes but most of the time I like how these characters interract. The grammar is perfect unlike this review I haven't spotted a single typo, the world building is very vast so if you're into that give this a try. One problem I noticed is that the author tends to jump around a lot with the pov which makes me un-interested when I see a whole new character when I just want to chill with my boy stryg. A lot of character growth and shades of grey. The story tends to have a few lgbt characters so if that's a deal breaker you have been warned.

This story is pretty good as of ch.9. The as of now seems world building is restricted so far which is understandable because of the locations seen so far. But the locations seen are well described (imo)
The MC has a personality that's relatable. And you should be able to get a good feel on how he fits in the world. Along with his goals and how he tries to get there.
Grammer has been pretty good there is rarely grammatical errors. And pacing is moving well.
As for the "curltured" and other things might be your yum or not but the author gets the ok cause of the way the goblins live.

It's a slow drip but 100% worth the read. All the bad reviews are from people that didn't even get 1/4 of the way through. You can't say a book is bad if you don't even read half of it.
