Everyone has a bit of magic in them, even on regular old Earth. But it's difficult to find that power when you can’t find yourself.
Erick is just a normal dude who is definitely NOT transgender no matter how envious he is of other trans girls. Or at least he that’s what he thinks, until his best friend shows him a trans femme forum.
Maybe he can even deal with all this gender stuff, if it wasn’t for the fact that he’s also started having weird hallucinations of a far off world. Is he losing his mind? The girl who starts to share his thoughts doesn’t seem to think so. In fact, it seems she knows a lot more about their strange connection than she lets on.
A story of friendship, discovery, magic, romance, and the power of self love.
It is our goal to make the reading of any potentially traumatic experiences completely optional for readers, so that anyone who wishes to can follow this story without having to be exposed to emotionally difficult experiences. There's absolutely no shame in not wanting to engage in heavy material, we get enough of this shit in our real life! We want to make it easier to enjoy the good things in the story without being hurt by the bad.
General warnings for the story: shitty parents (we are striving to make this completely avoidable), neurotypically ableist language in parts, trauma in the context of a dissociative system (also avoidable)
At the moment we're tagging most things on a paragraph-by-paragraph basis, so those small bits can be skipped without missing much else.
If you feel like any part of this story isn’t properly tagged with content warnings, please let us know either in our DMs or the comments!
