Red Eye Crystal Sphere Game system 696543789ε

The solar system the story will take place in.

the Road Map of the idea. I am building a D&D campaign for the setting, but instead of selling the setting as a rule book, with maps classes, and outlines of adventures, I will instead give you a Novel.

So, to start off with, the DM in me wants to give you the big picture, the one that the Characters see every day and every night. This the world as all worlds in official D&D sources and many Homebrew games sits in a star system inside a crystal sphere, which floats in the Phlogiston. For the experienced Spelljammer captain and crew, this Sphere is a million times larger than any they have seen before, not because I wanted a massive crystal sphere, but because the star system I wanted ended up with a 105,000au radius.

Or 1.66 lightyears from edge to center.

Red Eye

Red-Eye

The main star of this system is a supermassive red giant with an 8au diameter.  The locals call it the Red Eye. The Red Eye has millions if not billions of planets in orbit, however, most of those worlds are too small to support life. Not to say that the enterprising spelljammer or two haven’t set up shop on the many worlds in this system.

However, the Red Eye is not the only star, there are two others in this system, both are in orbit around the Red Eye. In close Orbit to the

Red Eye, are three planets of note. The closest living world to the main star is Gainmheachoisgte or Burnt Sand in the native language. It’s a Desert World reminiscent of the Dark Sun setting, or Arrakis from the Dune saga. By all rights of physics as we know them, life shouldn’t be here, but as this is not our reality, the Red  Eye will last longer than our real sun (supper massive Red Giants have really short stellar lives), and life and air can exist in almost all parts of a star system.

The next world with life, is actually the moon of a gas giant, because who doesn’t want an Endor moon. The gas Giant is ringed like Saturn but larger and more colorful than Jupiter, it’s called Coedwig (meaning silly) by the locals, and the Moon they live on is called Wirion (forest). The

final world of note that orbits only the Red Eye is Perídromos a water world with a few small islands.

Hades

Hades

The smallest of the stars a Red Dwarf star, about half the size of our sun, is Hades. Hades orbits the Red Eye at 5000au or nearly 80% of a light-year.

Hades has 4 living worlds.

The closest living world to Hades is a world called “The Rock” as no one knows what the locals call it. It’s a prison world, with lots of horrible creatures living on it. To prevent anything escaping the Rock, it

is bathed in an anti-magic field. This field is maintained by the first new race for this setting, I call them Space Elves, however, they are actually called  Ruar-Tel'Quessir (Star or Mithral Elves) technically they are Eladrin/High Elves. Although they look more like Void Elves in World of Warcraft than any other elves. They tend towards pale blue to purple-black skin tones. The Ruar-Tel’Quessir live in a world that orbits the Rock, it’s called Void Station, and is an artificial world made countless eons ago to maintain the Anti-Magic Field. Imagine the Mass Effect Citadel if it was made by elves with magic. Unfortunately, the time has not been good to the Space Elves and their civilization is in decline, they just don’t have the population to maintain Void Station, and there is a possibility the Horrors trapped on the Rock could escape. The next world is called “Bug” or Tsettëpí by the elves. It’s a world dominated by insectoid life, imagine a world dominated by 40k Tyranids and you get the idea. Fortunately, most of the life on that world is uninterested in leaving the perfect world for their kind, unfortunately, some do leave, after all, there are intelligent bugs, the Thri-kreen a player bug race has its origin in this world in this setting. The final world of note, and it only barely counts as a living world, is the Ice Ball. The Elves never bothered giving it a nickname, and only Spelljamer pirates really make use of it. It’s basically an Ice world, lots of monsters, and lots of primitive local tribes, who trade food for precious gems with Spelljammer crews.

Ikiteiru Hoshii

Spoiler

Ikiteiru Hoshi

And at the heart of the setting is the Yellow sun, which is nearly identical to our own sun, it’s called Ikiteiru Hoshi (good star, or I’m good) it sits at 88508au or 1.3995 light-years from the Red Eye, although there are about 10 worlds, only 3 are important to the setting, the closest living world to the star is Gioicuachua (no one knows the meaning, but they think whoever named it was making a joke about Crabs) it’s basically a paradise world if it wasn’t for the people.

The next world and the furthest out is Sodalased (unknown meaning) is a world similar to the Earth, with a lot of forests and oceans, the world

has a lot of Orcs.

Last but not least and the middle world in the perfect goldilocks orbit. Nísoitisgis (name meaning also was forgotten) this world is actually a twin world with the World of Dragons and the World of People as they are both of equal mass, and just far enough away from each other to appear in

the night's sky as a blue moon to its twin. In the middle doing a figure 8 orbit is a tiny moon although its orbit brings it close enough to appear moon-sized on a full moon.

Need a good picture of a heterosexual catboy with a femm style and rogue weapons.  his hair color is also more of a salt and pepper.

What he looked like as a kitten:

a typical catboy

2035 FXR rebuild custom motorcycle.

based on the Devil's Ride from D&D 5th edition: https://www.dndbeyond.com/vehicles/devils-ride

Once a Hydrogen Fuelcell motorcycle built to look like a 1995 H-D FXR to include the sounds, it is now a Magi-Tech motorcycle with a few more tricks than Rebecca is aware of.
