The tropes are called out and it's hilarious because they're everything the readers want to say when we see these in shoujo mangas/novels.
The MC has a relatable personality and it's funny to read her inner monologues when she comments on obvious developments.

This just isn’t my cup of tea. As warned in the first chapter this novels just the MC being somewhere, encountering a cliche/someone else’s story unfolding at said location and then just criticizing them or ranting about it in her mind before running away.

One of the best stories I've ever read. It is so good that I'm writing here painstakingly using my mobile keyboard. I rarely consume content with female protagonists because I find it hard to empathize with them, but this is one of those rare gems that is so well written that I can't stop reading it. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Also, each trope incident is written in small bite sized pieces of 1-2 chapters, so you can digest it well as and when you want to. It also doesn't have much filler world-building, so you can generally start from any chapter in the table of contents.
