The story ended happily ever after.
The hero slew the Demon King. The main cast graduated from the Royal Academy, and the heroine had the wedding of her dreams with the beautiful golden-haired warrior prince. The kingdom was saved and the protagonist's newlywed life was filled with bountiful blessings.
At least, that was the ending written in the epilogue of a certain popular otome game.
What if you transmigrated into a video game after the conclusion and discovered that the protagonist's adult life wasn't so shiny, rosy, and clear-eyed? Happiness is short-lived, and many marriages are plagued with conflict and drama. No happy ending can last forever.
Darkness creeps insidiously between the cracks, and the hero has been corrupted by a mysterious evil power that has poisoned his mind since the day he killed the Demon King. While the heroine struggles with her husband’s increasingly sick nighttime perversions, she struggles to find a solution to break his curse.
She has no idea how badly her world is about to fall apart.

This story contains the right combination between politics, adventure and smut. If anything, I wish the phase was faster. Maybe during the early build up the author could add a bit more of fan service or action.
This is because as of yet, the MC and her husband have yet to interact with anyone in any meaningful manner.
