A powerful figure, all might and all strength. Enters the castle, just walks through the gate.
No monster too strong, no army too large. To Hero it is just another weak foe.
He swings his mighty sword, all valiant with might. And collects all his harem from all in his sight.
All women they serve him, all men they adore, and children to be him. They wish forevermore.
The Hero is perfect. The Hero is grand. The Hero is perfect. Don't you understand?
The Hero is coming, the Hero is here! The Hero was never late or on time.
For time is a servant to Hero, oh mine! And then the Hero rides on his horse, slays all the monsters and saves us with force.
His Harem is mighty, his power so great, that even the Princess obeys and is safe.

This is the lullaby sung to the residents of the Toybox from the moment they are born. They live and breathe The Hero. He is perfect, he is kind, he is less a person and more a force of nature.
There is just one tiny problem... "The Hero" has died countless times in the Toybox.
He hates it,
He hates them,
He wants to escape more than anything.
Except there is no escape. The Toybox runs on broken quests, worse incentives, and mechanics that should not exist.
Then one day, during a random iteration like any other... One of the NPC's wake up... The Toybox will never be the same. She was written to serve, to adore, to worship. A perfect NPC in a perfect role. Never to awaken to the horrors of The Toybox.
But she did... Now she's caught between what she was programmed to feel and what she actually feels. In a world built on broken mechanics, she might be the most broken of all.
Content Warning: This story contains explicit sexual content, dubious consent that evolves into agency, psychological horror, existential themes, and meta commentary on game mechanics and player ethics. Features a sentient NPC navigating programmed desires vs. genuine choice. Dark romance with philosophical depth and a cathartic ending.
Also, side note. This song I feel relates to Alia really well: https://youtu.be/03OvXCvtV0E?si=nc3sbhHADk2ZygCV
Man, this story is so frigging original, I love it! This is what you read when you're tired of all the other overused tropes. Very unique. Not a fan of "smut" that got added later, and I hate skipping content.
