Bears all the hallmarks of a series in which the writer lost their direction and ran out of good ideas. As of chapter 89, the MC faced only 1 real threat which was resolved in the space of a few chapters. It started off strong and interesting, but all of the interesting concepts were gradually abandoned. The series seemed to promise the possibility the MC's parents were onto her reincarnated nature and trying to figure it out, but that never went anywhere. It got us excited for the idea the MC might actually reveal it and it could create a real interesting dynamic, but that was when the MC was 4 and now she's 8 so it doesn't look like that will ever happen.

With that plot-line abandoned, and the previous threat having quietly disappeared with nothing else significant coming up, the story gradually started to slip down hill as the writer seemed to run out of good ideas and seemed unwilling to actually capitalize on any of the interesting plot points from the earlier chapters. However, the story REALLY fell flat on it's face once the twins were introduced. It became real clear the artist suddenly became hell bent on making the twins the main characters of the story and take the spot-light away from the actual MC. It was like they ran out of ideas and just stopped liking their original MC, so they just gushed on and on and on about those twins. I found it unbearable and just had to drop the series.

Low IQ story with Castrated-nese I mean Japanese unrealistic anti-violence stance. The scum of the earth do not die unless they are monsters, at the decision of the protagonists, leaving the protagonists constantly in danger and the antagonists escaping with their plot-armored lives. The text of the story is quite unnecessarily repetitive and also full of useless details. The writing is not concise. It is a brain-draining experience to read this story. The MC also has overly irrational phobias which are left as-is, and our MC doesn't take their new enjoyable life seriously because they do not train for self-defense. The story has a fun premise but it's rather infuriating to read. I'm out.

I am writing this review since "I Didn't Even Want to Live, But God Forced Me to Reincarnate!" was a novel that I used to be enjoy since the beginning it's released from novelupdates, But unfortunately can be called complete at chapter 185/186.

Before begin I hope my review didn't hurt the author and if the author want to discuss about this review you can leave PM or write at my status.

Title is something that bound the story as general since title mostly contain the core idea of the story, unfortunately the core story of this novel which is the personal conflict of main character Lyra and her past life Reinst got unsatisfactory closure at chapter 185, and from chapter 186 her view of life already changed.

What I mean by unsatisfactory closure is her gaining familiar that suddenly give the personal ending goal before the story complete by severing the bonds of her past life, and it's not the best idea since most reader attracted to this story is because of her past life which is become very flavorful sauce for this story, and taking it away is the same making the story bland, and it make reader not interested in the story anymore.

The story also have some major problem that still can be fixed and can't be fixed anymore without Reinst.

1. The drawback of her strongest element, is the darkness temptation that severely hinted through in other chapter, without reinst I don't think the conflict of her dark element will be interesting.

2. The main cast is too much and they mostly stick together which already commented by other reader at many chapter.

3. The chapter contain lot's of focus in introducing the main cast gang which keep getting bigger and taking too much portion of the story.

4. The core conflict of main cast gang seems already resolved, where I think it should be left for later and make the main cast team bonding become deeper at each conflict.

Minor problem:

- The character development after each training feel non exist

- The main cast gang + the good faction have too much strength against the enemy, especially with the existence of dragon, strong familiar, god that helping the main character.

- Main character Lyra other 3 strong element left unexplored, why give her too many strong element when it's end up being unused, I think there is room for the other element to shine.

- Main character Lyra Oracle power underdeveloped and very rarely used

- Passive main antagonist

- Academy life at the moment is too bland

- Too much birthday chapter

- some story that forgotten or left unsatisfied like the promise for coming into fumitsuna territory or fiona existence.

- Main character become stuck with main cast since the academy age that take too much we are at 200 chapter and still stuck at academy.

Some idea that maybe can't be used anymore:

- I really think that it would be better that some part of Miseria dwelling inside Lyra giving it major boost for main character progression

- Honestly I believe it would be wonderful combo when her darkness outburst combined with her oracle giving Reinst take over control her body from appearance and personality

Cute and well written.

Definitely one of the better stories on this platform. I hope that Lyra gets more character development past her obsession with her former family though I understand the process will take time.

My biggest annoyance with the story is that the Isekai genre doesn't apply to this story. Isekai translate to "another world" but she is reincarnated into the same world only 7 years later.

I forgot to leave a review, but this is without a doubt one of my favorite light novel, sure the world itself is not 100% believable but it makes up for it with really cute characters, and heart-warming moments (lots of them). The cute parts are really cute, the engaging parts are thrilling, and the sad parts made me despair. I really love it when a story can give me mixed feelings of emotions for a character.

Overall a great read that doesn't trend with regular isekais, well its not even an isekai in the first place XD. Give it a try.

This story is really good!

I think this is a well balanced story, there's some heartwarming scenes, sad part, ofcourse some conflicts, name it! That's why it's not boring.

Idk what to say anymore, this is just one of my favorite!
