Status: ch 9. the end and the...

If you are looking through some of the less read writers looking for undiscovered gems, then you really should read this story.   There are a lot of "dense egg" tropes on SH, but this one manages to have it's own particular spin that is nothing like anything else I have read.

Evocative imagery, sometimes the prose gets overdone, but there is always a consistent voice.  The main character is somehow both very foreign and very relatable (at least, to me, ymmv).  The side characters are sketched out into real people in a few sentences.

    Just read it.

Status: ch 9. the end and the...

The author displays a proficient command of the language and executes on the premise in a superb fashion. The artistic imagery invoked is phenomenal. Symbolism is employed in an expert manner, generally not seen in amateur writing.

Some punctuation errors and misplaced letters are present. These do not obstruct the flow of reading, but should be rectified.

The interspersed German (minor; originating from a single side character) is expertly placed. As a native speaker, I found no errors therein if we ignore the lack of proper capitalization. It should also be easily digestible to an English audience as most words are either inconsequential to the story or directly explained in text. The main purpose therein is additional flavor.

As a widely-read individual, this is the kind of story I yearn for.
