This "story" is a train wreck. Grammar horrible, no consistency between chapters. There's a "System" in there, where the MC earns points for upgrades. Those points fluctuate wildly, at some point the MC has about 20k points, then there's a time skip of about two whole years (!), where it would've been safe to assume the MC earned points for improvements, but no change for the positive is visible. Then there's the intelligence of the MC. He's actually mentally disabled, as it's not possible for a healthy mind to be that stupid.
I'm only at chapter 13 but so far I'm quite enjoying this story.
It does well in capturing that wonder and joy in magic that the early HP stories had. I eventually stopped reading the canon books because the scales shifted from wonder and joy (with a hint of darkness and mystery) to angst, drama, and depression. Sadly most HP fan-fiction I've encountered also descends into darkness fairly quickly so the more optimistic tone of this one, along with setting it a couple of years before the canon story begins, feels like a breath of fresh air.
