As the 6582th Plane of the Kernith Dimension is about to fall to the Chaotic Gods, Ephrenos, last God born from this Plane hastly reincarnate a group of Soul from the Underworld in the hope of shifting the balance of the Mortal conflict in their favor.

At they receive the news of the birth of the heroes, dark forces turn to their backing in hope of getting their own Champions. But the Demonic God was conflicted, he was too weak to take part in the conflicts between the Major Gods but he couldn't just abandon his believers. Stitching together a group of decaying souls wandering in the Void, he formed a "mindless" abomination that he threw in the receptacle prepared by his followers.
