In October of 2017, a hunting trip to the Western Rockies of Montana turns into a living nightmare when a series of gruesome human mutilations occur all around the hunting reserve. Eric Lantstrom - a hunter from Grand Rapids, Michigan - helps the local Sheriff, Buck Williams, and Master Warden, Colton Locke, investigate these bizarre murders to find out who or what is behind them. While initial speculation was that it was the result of a Grizzly bear that had acquired the taste for human flesh, as his investigation continues on, Eric eventually comes to learn that these abnormal attacks aren't just the work of any predator, but the result of the carnivorous lunar activities of someone who is, but is not man; and that these attacks have gone on for over 400 years.

This is Book #1 of what is intended to become a trilogy series.
