Got to V1 SS12, and gave up. MC is so OP and has such a thick layer of plot armour there is no tension or drama and most of the supporting cast read like they've just dropped in from their roles in Dumb and Dumber. At least half of the smut content appears to have been written by an engineer or medical researcher and for the bits that aren't author is so taken with their particular form of BDSM that it become repetitive very fast. I do wonder how much of the "soulless" feeling comes from the author writing in German and then translating it. On the plus side, there is a number of quite humorous bits, but too far apart to carry the story past the plot holes so big you could drive a truck through them.
