When a strange woman shows up to Lucas' apartment and gives him a book with pages made of liquid metal. Lucas discovers his latent storm magic and is thrust in the middle of a political disaster between supernatural nations. His involvement leads him to a group of outcasts where he must make hard decisions about who he is and who he wants to be.

A trans coming of age story set in an urban fantasy setting. Deals with international politics within the supernatural world. The sidhe, mages, Heaven, and Hell are a major parts of the story.

It is told from a leftist, primarily anarcho-communist perspective. Think Dresden Files with a dash of Fullmetal Alchemist, but it's queer. This story has plenty of feel-good moments, but this is not a fluffy story. Those familiar with the previously mentioned series can expect a similar tone to those.
