Years ago, mysterious beings called the Luminescent appeared and ravaged the planet, killing billions. Only the Goddess Raftilia was able to stop them by creating the Umbra Girls to fight back.

After being rescued by the Umbra Knight, a young orphan finds himself transformed into an Umbra Girl by the Adaption process. After his awakening it is revealed he is a Sparkle, which means he possesses an extremely rare variation of magick. Despite his circumstances he takes joy in saving people and helping others. However, he is nowhere near ready to go into the field. Not to mention two others join his squad, along with the girl who saved his life. Meanwhile the Luminescent has plans of their own, and creep ever closer to completing their goal of purifying all of humanity.

This story is about putting a cis(?) boy into the shoes of a trans boy. It is about gender, but also mystery, and action. He will question if the body is the only destination for your gender, or is there far more to it than he could have possibly imagined. There will inevitably be fights with the Luminescent, as well as revealing the truth of the Luminescent, the Goddess Raftilia, and the significance of the Sparkles.

Note: Both Umbra Girl and Luminescents WILL die or worse in this story. There also will be misgendering both maliciously and accidentally. So be aware.
