After an untimely death, Velen Arcturus, found himself as a formless soul in Hell. This wasn't a great surprise to him, he wasn't exactly what one could call a good person after all. However, when he's told that rather than being punished, he's being reincarnated into another world with his memories intact, he can't help but be excited. Only problem is, they want him to kill some Outsiders, or the next time he dies his soul will be destroyed.
And so begins a journey in a new world.
Author's Note: My first foray into actual writing something for public consumption. I don't particularly have a full roadmap of this story planned, so it could really go anywhere. Things are subject to change at my whim, though I'm not above being influenced, so feel free to leave criticism, or even things you might like to see. Seriously the amount of things that have completely changed, because of a single comment are tremendous. Don't be afraid to drop a comment or a dm if you want a question answered either.
Also being posted on Royal Road, by me of course.

This chapter in the novel was annoying because the MC confessed that she was actually a man from another world.
it bothered me because lying would have been better. I have the powers of seduction from my monster mom and I was scared so I kept it from you,
but the writer wrote it in a way that make it look like confession was the only solution. This character is supposed to be a villain who was sent to Hell. Why did he not lie.
except for that the novel was good. But I don't want to read it because I have learned from reading light novels that if a writer makes a stupid mistake at the beginning of the novel, he will write a worse mistake at the end of it.

MC is raised by her Arachne mother in a cave for the first few chapters until she's 5 years old. Then she's rescued and told she's already adopted into a noble family when she wakes up and the whole Arachne thing is treated like it never happened.
The premise and first few chapters sounded interesting so I really wanted to like this story, but the logical inconsistencies are too much for me.

ok so this wn basically boils down to a very simple loop after infancy and childhood arc:
1. An antagonist appears
2. MC does whatever needed to trigger the antagonist fight
3. MC gets ass beaten
4. Plot armor activates
5. Antagonist gets annihilated and MC powers up
6. And then the next antagonist which is somehow always more powerful that the powered up MC appears immediately after previous antagonist's disposal
infancy and childhood arc and school arc are pretty great but it just devolves into this degenerate loop beyond that
would rate this a 3/5 normally but considering this is scribblehub, for sh standard this wn is pretty decent so 4/5
Edit: lowered to 3/5. Read until c196, never got any better. This wn attempted mystery but failed so utterly that its almost comical. Im calling quits, I can't take this anymore

So far it’s decent my biggest problem with it is you keep railroading the MC into being kidnapped/captured and having no agency at all its f**king annoying and a huge turn off to be honest only reason I stick with it is the interesting premise and that’s honestly it stop ramming the MC into the dirt with forced captures under the excuse of “plot” and actually make progression and it wouldn’t be so bad but the story is stale and boring since it’s obvious everytime something looks like it’s going well you decide it’s time for capture considering dropping this if there’s no change by ch 200 just not worth the frustration even if the concept is good

So. I'm gonna try giving this the most honest review from my perspective I can, and there may be spoilers.
First off, the beginning of this novel is fantastic. The writing is excellent, the characters are interesting, and reading them is enjoyable. However, that starts to fall to the wayside around when the MC is preparing to leave the school environment. After this moment, it feels as if the MC is just in a loop of slight improvements before being captured and/or regressing- the status panel non-withstanding. It feels as though all previous effort was wasted, and that there is basically no care about what is happening to the protagonist from the protagonist, who before this, was a very likeable and decently intelligent character. It doesn't help that the story itself feels like it doesn't care about itself either compared to the beginning, the protagonist has seemingly completely regressed in intelligence, and towards chapter 100 and especially after you can just skip the majority of chapters, scanning over paragraphs, and still understand what is going on. But it's just all.... hollow. The character interactions, events, etcetera, just are... hollow.
The beginning was fantastic, but there doesn't seem to be much here to enjoy anymore. I mostly enjoyed the story while it lasted, and wish luck to those who continue reading as well as the author.

Great novel, about the MC being "Evil" yet still acting really nice, in my opinion she's just cursed, forced to enjoy death, I mean we can tell she doesn't want to get caught up in killing, she literally says that the rush of it was why she just couldn't stop in her last life, so she and all 20 of her past lives must just be nice people, but cursed to enjoy killing to the point it becomes normal to them
